JL further object is to construct a cover for a manifold sales book which is provided with a socket so that a tissue book having an enlargement alon s bound edge can be ",iserted and securely held therein.

l'nthe construction of my device ll employ a cover comprising a top 8 and a bottom 9. The bottom 9 has a vertical projection or back 10 formed integral therewith The back 10, as well as the cover 8, is provided with a plurality of eyes through which a hinge wire 11 is inserted.

Hingedly connected to the bottom 9 is a leaf 19,, which carries a clamp 13. This is for the purpose of securing the manifold sales book to the leai 12. To the inside of the back 10 is secured a socket which consists'oi' a base portion 14: and the socket device in the WIFGLD-SlLLES-EGOK COVER portion 15. This portion is approximately oned ourth 0i cylinder or quarter round in cross section.

The portion provided with openings 6, through w ch rivets l? are passed for ecuring the socket to the back 10. Within his socket inserted the sue book 18 hich consists ot a plurality oftissue leaves and the cover 20. The book is formed by olding the tissue lee cover upon themselves and then stitchingthe same near the folded portion.

Before the tissue leaves and cover are folded over I make use of the insert 21, which may be either a cord, a wire or simimaterial. This insert causes the enlargement 22 to be formed along the bound edge of the tissue book.

The tissue book is adapted to be inserted nto the socket longitudinally, the eyes rorined on the back 10 extending close enough to the edge 23 of the socket to prevent the enlargement 22 from being pulled out. l

in Figs. 6 and 7 l have shown a modified form in which the socket consists of the right angular or l.-Sl1&p8tl member 24. This ?..-shaped member is provided with a plurality oi? recesses or

slits forming tongues

25 and 26. The tongues 25 are beaded along; their projecting edge, as at 27, while the tongues 26 are curved to form the socket which receives the edge 22 of the tissue book.

For stiiiening; purposes the portions 26 are provided with ribs 28 so that they will not bend and release the tissue book. In this modified form the head 27 and edge 29 of the portions 26 are close enough together to prevent the withdrawal oi the edge 22.

While l have shown my modified form as secured to sales book wnich has a flexible back and in which the covers are made of other material than metah it is obvious that this modification can also be attached to the cover shown in Fig. 1, without departing from the spirit of my invention.

Havinr" fully described 'my invention, what I claim is:

1. A cover for manifold sales books, cornprising a top and a bottom cover having an integrally former back hingedly connected together a socket having a base secured to said back adjacent its hinged connection, and a tissue book carried by said socket.

A. manifold sales book cover and tissue hook thei ei or, comprising a top cover hav ing integrally foifined eyes along one edge, a bottom cover having a back formed integrally therewith eyes. formed on the upper nee-e501 edge of said back, a hinge Wire passing thi'ough'the eyes for securing the top cover and back together, a socket having a base secured to said back and a tissue book having an enlargement alongits bound edge inserted in said socket, said tissue book being held in place by said socket and the eyes formed on the back and the top cover.
