A further feature of my invention consists in constructingn the article so it mayl be turned inside out or reversed and worn, and one side may be one color and theother side a different color or shade if desired.
Referring'to the drawings which form a part of this specification,
Fig. l is a perspective view of one'form or design of my improved slip-over as it would pump or slipper;

Referring to the drawings, A indicates a low cut shoe cates an over-gaiter or spat designed for womens wear embodying myfinvention and comprises twmside portions C and C' respectivel held together at the back by a side rean velastic at its ends by a number of elastic-bands F-E-F spectively, and at the bottom vb strap F, which is preferably held York, has invented A moved without having .is displayed and clalms.

'lhe edges of the cloth sides may be bound with leather or braid as indicated at LL to strengthen the construction or ornament the same. llt is .obvious that the spat can be but one thickness of material for the sidesif desired and still embody my invention. to the extent of providing a spat that is elastic and can be put on and rerecourse to buttons or buckles. The
