Be it known that l, THOMAS lileoczsesoxv, a citizen of the United States, residing at Newark in the county of Kendall and State of Illinois, have invented certain new-anti useful. The primary object of the invention is to provide s device of this character which simple of construction, compact in for-iii, adapted to be readily carried spoi t hicle, and capable oi being conveniently moved for use as occasion 1T1.

With these and other. objects in view invention consists of the features construction, combination and of parts hereinafter fully described incl claimed, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, in which:-

Leaves 18 and .19 are hinged at their upper or relatively inner edges to the sidc edges of the top wall 6 and are adapted to. be swung downwardly upon the sides of the CaSing to fold the device in com pact form, as shown in' Fig. l, the leaf 19 when swung downward also sci-ring to close the compartment 9 and to form an outer closure or cover for the compartment '10. The brackets 20 are adapted to be swung inwardly against the walls 3 and 11 to-permit of the leaves being; swung downwardly into closed position, as will be readily understood.

Handles are provided upon the end walls 4 and 5 to permit of the device being;- conveniently lifted and carried, and a lockingmeans is provided for securing the drawer 12 in. closed cosition when the device is folded up for storage or transpcrtalion. It will be, seen from the foregoing that my invention provides a kitchenette, or commissary article which is simple of construction, compact and adapted to be easily and conveniently lifted. and transported and carried upon a vehicle, and which serves as a refrigerator and receptacle for a cooking stove and also various other Commissary articles, in addition to store-0f food supplies. It will also be seen that the device is adapted to form a convenient dining or other table, and. thus affords manifold conveniences to sutoisizs and. others in obvious ways. A. device of the character described comprising a receptacle having compartments and an opening, leaves hinged to the top of said receptacle to swing upwardly into the plane of he top thereof and downwardly upon the sides of said receptacle, folding brackets for snpgorting said leaves in a horizontal position, a sliding drawer at one end of the receptacle and having an opening which ehnes with the opening 111 said reoeptacle, and a pm earned by one of the leaves and adjustable through said open-' ings end into the path of the rear Wall of said drawer, when the leaf isswung downwardly for locking said drawer in closed position.
