A glass plate, 0, is let into the surface of the board over the hole I), on which plateislaid the picture. Aframe, d, is hinged to the board at one side of the plate c,and is provided with hooks e to enter eyes f in the board, and thus fasten the frame down upon the picture and tracing-muslin. A cover, 9, is hinged to one side of the board a for the purpose of protecting the glass plate When not in use. A mirror, 1', is placed in a frame. 9', which latter is hinged to the bottom of the board a crosswise of the same. A socket, k, is secured to one side of the frame j, through which a brace, l, pivoted at its upper end to the adjacent side of the board a,is passed. A set-screw, m, entering the socket, serves to fasten it to the brace l at any desired point. By this means the angle between the glass plate and the mirror may be varied at pleasure. A shield, oz, is set in a socket at the end of the board a for the purpose of keeping the rays of light off from the muslin.
