IMPROVEMENT IN PORTABLE WINDLASS AND GATHERING-HOOPS.
V SPECIFICATION. I, GEORGE MCKAUGHAN, of Ourdsville, in the county of Daviess and the State of Kentucky, have invented certain Improvements in Portable Windlasses or Gathering-Hoops for hogsheads and barrels, of which the following is a specification:
The Whole of my invention relates to and consists in the combination of the Windlass and hoop, they being so arranged asto render them portable and easily attached to the top of hogsheads or barrels, for the purpose ofv drawing the staves sufficiently close to place the hoops.
General Description.
