To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, HEZEKIAH GRIsWoLD, of the city and county of Hartford an.d`State of Connecticut, have invented a new and Improved Form and Style of Yoke for Gentlemens Shirts, thereby securing a better and more perfectly fitting garment than can be obtained by any previous mode; and l do hereby declare that the following is a full and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings and to the letters of reference marked therein. l The nature of my invention consists in applying to the upper part of a shirt a compound or .graduated yoke as shown in Figure l, letters a, and b, b, and in Fig. 2 letters a and b, of the accompanying drawings; said compound yoke being composed of two parts or sections, as seen in Figs. 3 and 4L, Fig. 3 being the upper yoke or section thereof, and made with two or more points c, c, c, which points being inserted at d, d, di, of Fig. 4 thereby expand the form of Fig. 4L as 12,313, dated January 30, 1855.
