AUXILIARY TOILET-SEAT.
Specification of'Letters Patent.
To (lat/37110777, it may concern:
Be it known that I,\ STEPHEN W. DUNN, a citizen of the United States; residing at Milwaukee, in the county of lviilwaukee State of Wisconsin, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Auxiliary Toilet-Seats; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description of the invention, such as will enable others skilled in .the art to which it appertains to make and use the same.
This invention relates to improvements in attachments for toilet seats. The principal ob ect of the invention is to provide an auxiliary seat for attachment to the customary closet scat which is particularly adapted for traveling purposes and particularly for childrens use.
Another object is to provide a device of this character which can be conveniently carried 'in a handbag or satchel and which can be quickly and easily applied to or "ire: moved froni the closet'seat.
A still further object is to providea de vice of this character which is so constructed and arrangedthatit can be left on the seat without. interference of the opening and closing of the lid.
Other objects and advantages will be apparent froin the following description, when taken in connection withthe accompanying drawings.

Fig. 2 is avertical central longitudinal sectional view through eferring particularly to the accompany ing drawings, 10 represents the ordinary closet seat having the usual central openin 11 in which. my auxiliary seat is adapted for use. of the ring 12 is a wire yoke 13, the forward portion of'which is bent downwardly and inwardly as indicated, at 14 and is covered with the rubber tubing 15. portion of the yoke is adapted to embrace the forward edge portion of the main seat 10. Extending in divergent relation from the rear portion of the auxiliary seat ring 12 are arms 16, each of which is covered with the rubber tubing 17. The ring 12, when properly placed, will be disposed approximately centrally in the opening of the main seat and is disposed far enough down in the opening to permit thecover of the seat to be closed without interference of the auxiliary device. It will be noted that the rubber buttons l8 of the cover will support forward end of the ring for embracing eIigagement with the forward portion of the main seat, and a horizontally disposed and rear-wardly extending yoke carried by the rear pout-ion of the auxiliary scat ring for supporting engagement on the rear portion of the toilet seat.
