Specification of Letters Patent.

To all whom it may concern Be it known that I, JAMES F. SPALDING, a citizen of the United States, residing at Kansas City, in the county of Jackson and .State of Missouri, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Cabinet- Supports, of which the following is a specification.

Certain features of the invention will hereinafter be referred to, and in order that said invention may be fully understood,

reference will now be made to the accompanying drawings, in which:

Figure l is a front elevation of the apparatus, with the front door of the cabinet thrown open to disclose the appliances arranged therein. Fig. 2 is a side elevation of the apparatus with the door of the cabinet closed.

1 designates the stand. which comprises a pair of upright pieces 2, transverse pieces 3 uniting said upright pieces2, a forwardlyextending base 4, casters 5 upon which said base is mounted, and a pair of brackets 6 to firmly secure base 4 to the upright pieces 2. The upright pieces 2 have hinge-joints- 7 about midway between their ends so that the upper sections of said pieces may be folded against the lower sections when not in use. When the apparatus is in use the hinge-joints 7 are secured from folding by V a pair of brackets 8 bridging said joints, and which also serve as a support for the cabinet 9 which holds the collection of. appliances to be used by the patient. Brackets 8 are assisted in supporting cabinet 9, by a pair of hooks 9, which removably-engage the uppermost transverse pieces 3 of stand 1.

Cabinet 9 is provided at its miderside with a drawer 10 and its front side is adapted to be closed, to exclude dust, by a door 11, provided with a spring-latch 12 and a lock 13, through the intermediacy of which latter unauthorized persons may be upright members spaced apart, and hinged intermediate their lengths, a forwardly extending base member secured adjacent the lower endof the upright members, trans verse pieces connecting the upright mem:

bers, bracket members having right angled' arms, one of the arms of the bracket members adapted to bridge the hinge joints. a cabinet member supported on the opposite arms of the brackets, and hook members carried by the cabinet and adapted to grasp the uppermost transverse pieces for holding the cabinet member in an upright position.
