To all whom it may co noem Be it known that I, CHARLES J. NASH, a citizen of theUnited States, and resident of Chicago, county of Cook, and State of Illinois, haveinvented certain new and useful Improvements in Yokes for Draft-Gear, of which the following is a specification, and which are illustrated in the accompanying drawings, forming a part thereof.

The invention relates to draft gear' yokes of the standard C. B. type, which are substantially U-shaped, and particularly to the rear end of such yokes';\the objectof the invention being tofprovidegreat strength yat this portion of the yoke without increasinthe weightor thickening the'walls.

' This form of construction of the inner end of the yoke avoids the abrupt langles a* the ends of the longitudinal members, which have heretofore been the 'weak points in de vices of this character, and this, without the messing of metal with consequent danger of weakening the casting.

,I claim as myy invention- 1. A yoke for draft gears comprising a pair of parallel arms haringvtheir inner ends curved inwardlyand forwardly and ,united by a web section, the distance spanned by th'eweb being less than the distance between the parallel arms.

2. A yoke for draft gearscomprising a pair of parallel. arms having their 'inner ends curved inwardly and forwardly and united by a web section.
