While this pocket is shown to be substantially at the medial line and it the front of the supporter, it may of course be arranged to be either side of said line or at the rearpart, if desired, the object being to provide on additional pressure against a certain part of the body in the abdominal region, and i do not wish to limit myself to exactness in the location of the pocket, or to the shape, size or degree of solidity of the pad or cushion.

What I claim and desire to secure by Letters Patent is- A supporter comprisin a bandage adapted to encircle the body oi the wearer,v at and above the waist line,.means for adjustably connecti 'tb endsof the bandage, a. plurality of ip and thigh members secured to the lower edge of the bandage, their front end portions being spaced apart near their upper edges and approaching each other at their lower edges, said lower edges forming a continuous portion for encircling each thigh, and a V-shaped device conformable to the figure, connecting the spaced ends oi the hip and thigh portions with each other and connecting diagonally each spaced end with thelower edge or waist line of the bandage below the the means connecting the ends of the ban age.
