IMPROVEMENT lN STOCKlNG-LASTS AND YARN AND NEEDLE-HOLDERS COMBINED.
The Schedule referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
1, DAVID B, KEYDH, of East'hoston, in the county of Sulfolk and State of Massachusetts, have invented certain Improvements in Stocking-Last and Yarn and Needle-Holder Combined, of which the followingis a specification.
' The drawingrepresents a transverse vertical central section of my invention.
The object of this invention is to provide a siiliple and convenient implement; for use in darning stockings; and
it consists of a stock or handle, having two enlarged heads of different sizes, in the'larger of which is a receptacle for yarn, and in the other areceptacle for needles, said heads constituting lasts, which, being inserted in the stocking, facilitate the operation of darning.

The end D of the head B is removable, ant constitutes the cover to the circular or oval char her-E,

In the head 0 is achamber, F, the month of which is oiosed by a plug, G.
The ofiice of chamber E is to hold yarn, while that chamber 1: is to hold needles. 7
The heads B O constitute lasts for differentparts of the stocking while being darned. v
The end I) may, if desired, be screwed to the head B, suitable-threads being out for that purpose, while the head 0 may be provided with a similar arrange.-
