I IMPROVEMENTIN SCHOOL-DESKS AND SEATS.

This invention relates to a new and useful improvement in school furniture, and consists in a combined desk and seat hinged to the frame or stands, and made noiseless by cushioning, as hereinafter more fully described.
The accompanying drawing represents, byv Figure I, a side view, partly in section, and by Figure 2, an end View of my combined desk and seat, as connected with the stand or end piece, showing the seat and the desk-bars turned up as when not in use, and their true positions when in use in dotted lines.

In the top portion of each of these arms there is an open slot, in which the joint-portion F F of the desk and scat-bars work.
