The construction, operation, and relative arrangement of the.-parts of my invention are as follows, to wit:
The vertical posts A A are provided with thelongitndinal apertures B B', and the pertorations a, arranged the one above the other, in ordertofacilitate the verticai adjustment of the gates.
The gates O G are pivoted to thesaid posts by means of pins r'iassing'through perfor-ations out inthe lower corners of thesame, and, also, the perfor-ations. in the posts. l
0n the outer sides of the said posts are ont the/indentures D D', and on the inner sides of the same are-cut the iinlentnres E E. The said indent-nresare of an elongatedtorim'in order to render the gates ca'- pable 0f vertical adjustment.-
When thegates are closed, the pins c', attached to the corners of the gates, rest nponthe shoulders d, and hold the said gates in a horizontal position.
Vhen the gates are open, they are held in position by the pins c', which rest upon the inner shoulders d d. The gates are operated by merely revolving them in a vertical plane.
Having thus described the construction and operation of my invention, I will indicate what I claim and desire to secure-by Letters Patent in the following clause:
In combination with the posts A A', provided with the vertically-elongated indentnres D D and E E', and perfor-ations a, the gates C O', when constructed and operating as described and shown.
