Upon the end of each of the stationary slides .O is pi'voted'a lever, L, which is, by a rod, connected with the bar J on the side the lever is placed. l

The outer end of this lever passesunder `a guiderod, b attached tothe movable slide.

By the use ofthe levers L L the sliding frames are easily moved ontand in. Onlsmall tables these levers are not necessary, but on larger ones they are a great help. 0n the under side of each leaf B should be a small catch or other suitable device to hold the bar4 J, so that the frame will not slide inward when' the tablejs being moved abont. j Having thus fully described my invention,
