The Shednle referred to in these Letters Patent and making part of the same.
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, ASHEL C. BOYD, of Worces- `ter,in the county of Worcester and State of Massachusetts, haveinvented a new and improved Folding- Cliair; and I do hereby declare the following to be a full, clear, and exact description `of the same, reference being had to the accompanying drawing making apart of this specification, inwhiehs Figure 1 is a side elevation of the chair, open; Figure 2 is a side elevation of the chair, folded to.-

The invention consists in the combination of the seat `and longitudinally-slotted back legs with the side `posts of the chairback, when the same `are provided, near their lower extremities, with" pins which enter the slots in the back' legs; also, in thef'combination of the above with theijointed4 arms' which connect the side posts with the 'rear part of the chair-bottom, all
