Referring to the drawings, the frame, as generally considered, comprises horizontally-arranged card-receiving sections 2 and connecting sections 3, alternating with each other, land vertically-arran ed telescopic end members 4f connected to t e ends of the sections 2 and3. Each card-receiving section12'is formed of a strip of sheet metal having its-upper'portionbent to form a for'- wardly and downwardly extending Harige 5,

To prevent accidental outward movement of the member 4i from the ends or the sections 2 and 3, we provide the to ot the flange 17 and also the bottom of t e flange 18 each with an inwardly extending projection 21 adapted to register with and spring into a depression in the adjacent section 3 l When the parts are assembled.
When it is desired to increase the size et the frame by adding sections 2 and 3 thereto or to decrease the size of the :trame by removing sections 2 and 3 therefrom, the end members t are removed trom the chain ofsections 2 and 3, and, after the desired number of sections have been added to or removed from the chain, the strips 1d of the Aend members a are adjusted within the strips 15 thereof until the length of the members d corresponds to the chain et tions 2 and 3; then the members l are again applied to the ends of the sections as previously explained.

The uppermost section 3 is provided 'with a suitable chain 25'by means ot which the entire traine may be suspended from a suitable support. v
By the construction shown and described we provide a sectional 'sign supporting frame which may be readily adjusted for the kaddition or removal of sections thereto or -thereiirom, and one that may be packed in close quarters by separating the sections 2 and 3 and members 4 and placing them-in parallel relation to each other, face to face.
We claim:
1. A sign supporting .frame comprising a i plurality of sheet-metal card-receiving sections, a plurality of sheet-metal connecting sections 1n parallel relation to and alternating `with the card-receiving sections, said` sections having means for detachably connecting their adjacent edges together, and detachable, vertically-arranged end members wholly supported by the ends of said sections and provided with means for engaging the card-receiving sections and the engaging the ends'of said sections, one of said end members being formed of two strips ot sheet metal slidably engaged with each other, and one strip, having an integral outwardly bent corner engaging a part of the other strip and preventing relative movement between said strips in one direction when said strips are adjusted to a predetermined position.
3., A sign supporting frame comprising a plurality ot card-receiving sections having forwardly and downwardly extending flanges on their upper, edges and forwardly and upwardly extending flanges on their lower edges, a plurality of connecting sections alternating with the card-receiving sections and having rearwardly and downwardly extending flanges on their upper edges and rearwardly and upwardly extending danges on their lower edges, the flanges of the adjacent edges of said' sections being hooked together, and vertically-arranged end members engaging the ends of said sections, the u permost section having its top Hangs hodlied over the tops et said end members,1

A sign supporting frame comprising a plurality of card-receiving sections having forwardly and downwardly extending anges on their upper edges and forwardly and upwardly extending ianges on their lower edges, a, pluralityof connecting sections Valternating with the card-receiving sections and having rearwardly and downextending anges on their upper edges and rearwardly and upwardly extending fianges' on their lower edges, the iianges of the adjacent edges of said sections being hooked together, and verticallyarranged end members engaging the ends of said sections, the uppermost section having its top flange hookedover the tops of said end the lowermost section having its said end members, and means to prevent said. members from moving outwardly from the ends of said sections.
6. A sign supporting frame comprising a plurality of card-receiving sections one above Ianother, vertically-arran ed detachi able end members engaging t e ends of said sections and crossing the same, and bewardly and upwardly extending flanges on their .lower edges, a plurality of vconnecting-sections alternating with the card-receiving sections and having rearwardly 'and downwardly extending fianges on their upper edges and rearwardly and u wardly extending flanges on their lower e ges, the flanges of the adjacent edges of said sections being hooked together, vertically-arranged telescopic end members engaging and being wholly supported by the ends of said sections, and means to prevent the movement of the upper ends of said members toward the lower ends of said memberswhen adjusted to a predetermined position.
