Be it known that I, ANNA SIMoNsoN, citizen of the United States, residing' at Downers Grove, in the county of Dupage and State of Illinois, have invented certain new -and useful Improvements in Clothes-l Pin Bags, of which the following is a specification.
rIhis invention4 relates to a receptacle or holder and is more especially intended for a clothes-pin holder; and has for its main object to provide a device of this kind that is simple, convenient and comparatively inexpensive. l
Figure 1 is a View in perspective showing the bag-frame. in its open position, the bag part being indicated in dotted lines. Fig. 2 is a similar view, showing-the bag in full lines and the frame and handle part in their closed locking position.

'Ihe companion frame-hars are of metal shaped into the desired form. The barlB is provided at its respective ends with the hook-eyes 3 which are adapted to engage with the corresponding hook-eyes 4 the ends of the bar C and provide a loose hinge interlock to retain the bars in `their proper relative position and permit of the required opening and closing movement in practical use. The frame-bars are bound-in the mouth edge of thebag in properly securing the .parts together, as shown in Fig. 2.
The combination handle and locking clamp D is composedoffa single piece of wire bent into the desired shape and terminating in the respective hook-ends which are adapted to engage loops 6 spaced apart and forming an integral part of the frame-bar C. Ihe handle 1s provided with the companion curved clamping bends 7 adjacent to the respective ends thereof and which are adapted to engage the adjacent covered surface of the bar B with a drawing cam action and lock the bars together in the lclosed p0- sition shown in Fig. 2. In this position the handle isn turned upward for a hand grasp in carrying the bag or as a means for hangl ing the same up out of the way. When the bag is to-be opened, the handle is turned over the mouth edge of the beg to the opposite side and then downward to the position shown in Fig.y l, when the frame-bars may be spread apart to their open position.
In practical use the bag is hung on the clothes line 9 by means of the inverted handle, the line passing through the loops 8. In this position the pins may be placed in or taken from the bag-receptacle and also conveniently permits of the bag being slipped along to different points on the line as the work of hanging up or taking down the clothes progresses.
This arrangement provides a very simple and useful device in which to keep the pins,
and permits of their ready and convenient use.
Having thus described my invention, what I claim is:
i 1. In a device of the kind described, a bag receptacle comprising a holder-part, the companion framing-bars hinged together at their respective ends to provide for an opening and closing movement, and a handlepart having a pivotal connection with one of said bars and provided with curved bends to engage the companion bar for locking the receptacle in its closed position.
2. In a device of the kind described, a bag-part, the companion frame-bars having a hinged connection at the respective ends thereof and secured within the mouth of said bag, and a combined handle and locking clamp movably pivoted to one of said bars and adapted to lock both together in their closed position when turned downward, and` support the bag from the clothes line in a suspended position when turned upward.
