Specification of Letters Patent.

To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, Josnrn F. LAIv IB, a citizen of the United States, and a resident of New Britain, county of Hartford, State of Connecticut, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Lunch-Boxes, of which the following is a specification.
The object of the invention is to produce an article of the character described having features of novelty and advantage.
An embodiment of the invention is illustrated in the drawings in which Figure l is a side elevation, parts being broken away to show construction. Fig. 2 is an end view invertical section.
Referring to the drawings a denotes the base which forms a food compartment provided with" an upstanding wall I) at one end provided with a laterally extending flange c.
d is the top or liquid containing compart ment provided with a transversely arranged trays-extending between and secured to the walls thereof and adapted to support a liquid holder such for instance as a vacuum bottle. The upper side edges of the base are rolled over-to form ways f, and the lower side edges of the top are provided with engaging members such as the grooved channels '9. The top is closed atone end, as by the wall h, and is opened at the opposite end. To assemble the parts the grooved channels 9 are fitted onto the ways 1 and the top is slid passing under the lateral flange 0 and being closed by the upstanding wall I) which is attached to the base. I claim as my invention:
1. A lunch box comprising a food containing compartment having an upstanding wall at one end, a laterally extending hoodfiange at the edge of said upstanding wall, a liquid containing compartment having. sliding engagement therewith and open at one end and adapted to fit under said hoodflange and be closed by' said upstanding wall.

4. In a lunch box .a base, a hollow top having sliding engagement with said and open at one end, a tray arranged trans versely of said top and extending between and secured to the side walls thereofi and forming a compartment, and an upstanding wall on said base forming a closure for the open end of said top.
5. In a lunch box a base, a top having sliding and interlocking engagc-enient therewith, and, a bottle holder located within and carried by said top.
6.
