HARRrsoN, of Kosciusko, in the county of Attala and State of Mississippi, have invented certain new and luseful Improvements in Plows; and we hereby declare the following to be a i" ull, clear, and exact description thereof, reference being had to the accompanying drawings, forming` part of this specification, in which- Figure 1 is a perspective view, and Fig. 2 a side elevation.
These improvements relate to the general construction and arrangement of the parts of a plow. s
In the accompanying drawings, A represents the beam; B, the handles; C, the connecting crossbar; D, the subsoiler-standard, situated at the rea-r end of the beam, and attached at its upper end to the cross-bar C. l
D is a diagonal brace reaching from the subsoilerfstandard to the beam, and secured by a nut on its'rear end.
E represents the subsoiler, attached to the lower end of the standard D by a bolt, d.
The upper part of the'subsoiler has a vertical slot, d, by means of which it is made adjustable to the proper height.
G is the colter, properly attachedvto the beam, and situated before the share.
- It should be observed that the subsoiler may be taken oft' by removing the bolt d, and any kind of a plowshare substituted.
Having fully described our invention, what we claim as new, and desire to secure by Letters Patent, is-
