The invention having been set forth, what is claimed as new and useful is:

In a fixture of the character described, a shade bracket carryin plate, having a slot longitudinally dispose at one end, two cars formed integral with the respective ends of the plate and extending from the opposite ends of the bracket, a slide provided with a T-sha ed head of lesser len th than the slot but 0 greater length than t e width of said slot adapted to enter said slot and be turned so that its body and head parallel the ears, and form a sliding member of a wi dow frame engaging clamp, and a screw mounted in one ear of the plate and connected with said slide for causing the slide to coaot with the other car of the plate to form a clamp.

The fixtures comprise an elongated strip of metal 3, each end of which is bent at right angles, as indicated at 4, in order to provide the ears 5. Between one of these ears and a movable slide 6 the window rame is clamped. The slide 6 has swiveled to it an adjustable screw 7 which is threaded into one of the said ears. By rotating this screw in one direction or the other, the slide may be moved laterally in either direction. The slide is provided with a forwardly extending portion 9, which is formed with a nar row neck 10, which is desi ned to move in the slot 11, of the elongated plate 2.

Upon the face 12 of the elongated plate, adjacent each side thereof, the plate 3 is rovided with ratchet teeth 13. These ratchet teeth are designed to be cooperated with by a movable shade roller support 14.
