Be it known that-I, Aoonr HuSCHAFFERT, a citizen of the United States, residing at Youngstown, in the county of Mahoning and State of Ohio, have invented certain new and useful Improvements in Metal Structures for Doors and Analogous Uses, of which the following is a specification.
This invention relates to the general subj ject of metal oifice furniture of the fireproof type, and has particularly in view a metal structure belonging to this'class, which possesses special utility in the manufacture of doors for safes and analogous purposes.
To this end the invntion contemplates'a metal door structure or the like constructed of a minimum number of parts, while at the same time being readilymanufactured and exceptional particularly adapting the structure for th doors of safes. I
WVith these and other objects in view which will more readily appear to those familiar-with the art-as the nature lof the invention is better understood, the same con' sists in the novel construction, combination,
and arrangement of parts hereinafter more fully described, illustrated and claimed.
Theessential'f'eatures of the invention are necessarily susceptible to structural change without departing from he, scope thereof, but the preferred embodiment is shownin the accompanying drawings, in which Figure l isQa perspective View of a metal door structure, of the safe type, constructed in accordance with the present invention.

Referring particularly to the drawings, itwill be observedthat the body of the metal structure primarily consists. of a pair of plates 1 and 2 arranged in parallel relation and having. interlocking flanged edge portions at the top. and bottom .andsides thereof.
