It will also be not-iced'thot the point of the display-face to which the supporting-member is hinged, is at the central part of the display-member whereby the rear i faces.
, The device may be made of cardboard throughout, which is of suitable stiffness and at the'same time forms folding edges; but it is clear that other yieldable material may be used, the invention consist-ing particularly in the arrangement of the supporting-member and the display-faces in a square or rectangular arrangement which is collapsible along its diagonals and by means of which it may be folded into flat condition for shipment, and when desired opened into self-'sustaining operative form.'
It is obvious that changes maybe-made in the construction without departing from the spirit 4of the invent-ion.
Having thus described my invention, I
Iclaim as new and desire to secure by Letters Patent:
1. A display device consisting of a supporting member provided with a single fold to form a rear edge and s a display facev provided with a single foldtol foma front edge, the supporting member having its free edges hinged to the rear of the display face,
whereby the device may be folded 4into two different collapsed positions, or opened into operative position, the rear edge of the display face being substantially in line with the rear edge of the su'pportingfmember when in .one of collapsed positions and having itsl'supporting member .contiguous to the display lapsed positions.

A display-device, yconsisting of a supe porting-member hinged at its rear edge and having a plurality o? steps at the front thereof, a plurality of display-faces on the steps of the su porting-member, and a hinge-connection` etween the front edges of the supporting-member and the rear part of the display-faces. f
8. A display-device, consistingA of a plurality of display-faces folded so as to form a folded front edge, arranged one above the other, the lower member extendin above the lowermost portion of the -mem er imme-` diately above it, a supporting-member folded to form a folded rear edge extending from the lowermost display-member tothe uppermost and having steps at -itsV =front portion extending below the lowermost edge 'of each display-member, and turned-over portions at vt ing-1nember secured to the rear side of the display-faces at a point substantially at the middle part of each display-face, whereby when the device is in collapsed or folded position the rear edge of the supporting-member and the rear edges of the display-faces are in line lwith and in proximity toeach other.
'11n testimony, that I claim the foregoing e front edges of the support-v Y as my invention, I have signed my name in presence lof two subscribing witnesses.
