Be it known that I, DAVID E. BowN, a residentof Pittsburg, North Side, in the county of Allegheny and Stateof Pennsyl Vania, have invented a new and useful Improvement in Attachme11t-l?l'ugs; and I do forming the same can be swiveled, will be capable of being manufactured easily and quickly, will contain few parts, which may be easily and rapidly assembled, and can each other when desired.

To these ends my invention consists, generally stated, in the novel arrange1nent,'construction and combination of parts, as hereinafter more specifically set forth and departicularly pointed out in the claims.

To enable others skilled in the art to which my invention appertains to construct and use my improved attachment plug, I

Connected to the body portion 1 is the closing cap or cover 3, which is part of said body and is formed of any suitable non conducting material, preferably porcelain. Thls cap 3 is provided with the outer or head portion 4 having a shoulder 5 thereon and a contracted portion 6 extending-in- .wardly from said shoulder for fitting within a seat 1 in the outer end of said body portion- Extending centrally of the cap 3 and through the head 4 thereon is the hollow portion or'chamber 7 and centrally of and carried by the body 1 is the interiorly threaded metal sleeve 8, which is provided with a flange 9 at its inner end and extending outwardly around the same for fitting Within a seat 10 in the inner end of said body. A screw 11 passes through a hole 11 centrally of the contracted portion 6 on the cap 3 for engaging with the interior of the sleeve 8 by its threaded end portion 12 and the head 13 of said screw is positioned in the hollow portion 7 of said cap and against the inner wall 7' of the same. Fitting against the shoulder 5 on the cap 3 is the collar 16, which is formed of any suit-able non-conducting material, preferably porcelam, and isprovided with the flange portion 17 having the tubular portion 18 extending inwardlyfrom the same for fitting around the screw casing 2, which casing is carried by said cap by having a recessed flange portion 2' at its outer end bent over and around the inner edge of the flange portion on such cap.

At one side of and extending through the body 1 and cap 3 is the passageway 19, which opens through the inner end of said body and into thehollow portion 7 of said cap atits outer end, and the opposite side of said body and cap is recessed, as at 20, which opens into said hollow portion through a hole 21 in said cap and provides for a wall 22 at its inner end. Various modifications and changes in the design and construction of my improved attachment plug maybe resorted to, without departing from the spirit of the invention or sacrificing any of its advantages.

\Vhat I claim as my invention and desire to secure by Letters Patent is- 1. An attachment-plug comprising a body portion for carrying the terminals, one of which is connected at the side of said body portion, a .screw-casing swiveled around said body portion, and means for permitting the attaching and detaching of said side terminal wire through the side of said casmg. I

2. An attachment plug comprising a body the wires, one of which is connected at the side of said body, and a screw-casing swiveled around said body portion and havingan opening therein adapted to be positioned in front of said side terminal for the attaching and detaching of its wire.

3. A11 attachment plug comprising a body portion for carrying the terminals for the wires, a spring contact on the side of said body carrying one of said terminals, and a scrmv-easdng swivelcd around said body portion and adapted to engage with said contact, said casing havmg an openlng therein for being positioned in front of said contact terminal to attach and detach its wire.
