Abstract
The invention relates to food and medical industry, medical cosmetics, dermatology, agriculture and feed mill industry. The invention provides for using vicinal dithioglycol of the general chemical formula RCH(SH)CH(SH)R(1), in the composition of a food additive or a food product as physiologically active substances and active ingredients of feed additives and a feed. The invention also includes methods of making such additives, products and agents. The substance of the formula (1) stimulates physiological processes, strengthens the human and animal immunity, inhibits undesirable processes in the organism and food products.
