Abstract

Спосіб одержання терефталевої кислоти включає окислювання п-ксилолу й складного метилового ефіру п-толуілової кислоти повітрям в присутності каталізатора, що складається з ацетатів кобальту й марганцю з наступною етерифікацією оксидата метанолом і гідролізом. З метою спрощення процесу гідроліз проводиться шляхом подачі водяної пари з температурою 260-290°С і тиском 45-80 бар протитечією до диметилтерефталату з температурою 190°С.
