Abstract
Procedimiento para preparar un ácido carboxílico a partir de un nitrilo, caracterizado porque comprende: reaccionar un nicotinonitrilo, un producto de hidrólisis intermedio del mismo o un nitrilo aromático que tiene por lo menos un grupo ciano sustituido un benceno o naftaleno o un producto de hidrólisis intermedia del mismo, con agua, en fase vapor, en presencia de un catalizador ácido sólido, para producir un efluente gaseoso que contiene el ácido carboxílico correspondiente.
