A device for determination of mechanical stresses in ferromagnetic constructions includes magneto-elastic sensor with magnetic writing head, each of pole tips of open magnetic conductor of that one is provided with additional winding and arranged with through openings, there two additional excitation windings in each are placed, direct current power source, smoothening filter, time relay with contact group and two control circuits, measuring and signaling block connected to two double-gap flux-sensitive reproducing heads, with time relay and additional windings. Additionally at the opposite side of ferromagnetic construction three single-gap flux-sensitive reproducing heads are placed, this substantially increases sensitivity and accuracy of operation of the device.
