A method for making a feed from wastes of animal origin includes shredding an initial raw material, thermal treatment under pressure, vacuum drying, additional shredding. The thermal treatment of the shredded raw material is carried out simultaneously with adding sodium or ammonia bisulphite in an amount of 2.5-7.5 kg per tonne of dry matter thereto. After drying the treated mass is supplemented with a fat adsorber of plant origin in a ratio of 1-2:1.
