A process for the preparation of sodium-chrome (III) double phosphate includes use of melt of mechanical mixture of polycrystalline substances, and the mechanical mixture of NaPOwith corresponding mole ratio for achievement of proportion of 1.0 mole of NaO – 1.0 mole of POis ground in an agate mortar to homogeneous state, the obtained mechanical mixture is calcinated in a platinum crucible for 1 hour at a temperature of 850 °C, the melt is saturated while stirring with sodium fluoride NaF () and held at a temperature of 1000 °C for 1 hour, then it is saturated with chromium (III) oxide (), held for 2 hours at a temperature of 1000 °C, stirred and crystallized by decreasing of temperature from 1000 °C to 800 °C during 24 hours, the obtained red single crystals of double phosphate NaCrPOare washed and dried at room temperature.
