Abstract

A method for preparing jelly-like confectionery products provides for soaking agar in water, dissolving thereof while heating and mixing, mixing with Lamidan, heating while mixing constantly, cooling the jelly-like mass, adding citric acid and pouring into moulds. Dissolving the agar is carried out in natural drinking water from a deep bore well at the room temperature, after the complete dissolution a mixture prepared earlier is added. Said mixture consists of the powdered Lamidan with a fine fruit or berry additive, or a vegetable additive, and once the citric acid is added, the solution is homogenized, cooled up to 35-40 °C and poured into moulds.
