A method for automatic control of tomato juice pasteurization process includes measuring and regulating temperature of tomato juice pasteurization in the pasteurization section by changing position of a regulating member of steam supply, measuring and regulating temperature of tomato juice cooling in the cooling section by changing position of a regulating member of ice water supply. Effect of pasteurization temperature in the pasteurization section on the cooling temperature in the cooling section is compensated by correction of given value of pasteurization temperature proportionally to the change of said control signal of temperature in the pasteurizator, effect of steam temperature on the pasteurization temperature is compensated by changing position of the regulating member of steam supply.
