Abstract

A method of surgical treatment of varicose veins of the esophagus involves interruption of the flow of venous blood through the system of esophageal port-forging anastomoses to the submucosal layer of the abdominal esophagus. Interruption of blood flow is carried out by mechanical intersection and removal of varicose-dilated port-forging venous anastomoses by performing a hardware circular resection of the abdominal esophagus with simultaneous imposition of gastroesophageal anastomosis.
