Зокрема, представленими є тритерпеноїди, які мають унікальну противірусну дію як інгібітори дозрівання ВІЛ, а саме сполуки формули І: , Формула I де X є вибраним з С4-8циклоалкілу, С4-8циклоалкенілу, С4-9спіроциклоалкілу, С4-9спіроциклоалкенілу, С4-8оксациклоалкілу, С4-8діоксациклоалкілу, С6-8оксациклоалкенілу, С6-8діоксациклоалкенілу, С6циклодіалкенілу, С6оксациклодіалкенілу, С6-9оксаспіроциклоалкілу та С6-9оксаспіроциклоалкенілового кільця, такі, де X є заміщеним А, де А є С1-6галогеналкілом. Згадані сполуки є корисними в лікуванні ВІЛ та СНІД.
