Abstract

一種用於光固化墨水之墨匣，該墨匣周圍由數殼壁所構成，該數殼壁合圍形成一封閉空間，該空間用以填充UV光固化墨水，該殼壁為非透明但可透光的濾光板，顏色為黃色系或橘色糸，即為PCCS色相環中色相編號3~8，可阻斷紫外線通過，另外該殼壁可透光的特色，在UV光固化墨水填充後，能觀察出墨匣內部液面高度。

Description

用於光固化墨水之墨匣
本創作為一種墨匣之技術領域，尤其指一種專用於UV光固化墨水之墨匣，該墨匣能阻擋UV光進入內部，但又能讓使用者觀察墨匣內之液面高度。
UV光固化墨水為不含有揮發性有機化合物(Vaporized organic compound)，可透過接受特殊波長光能量使其急速乾燥(固化)，達到即印即乾的效果，且能噴印在各種材質上，例如玻璃、木製品、壓克力板、pvc塑材、金屬、皮革、瓷器…等，目前已廣泛應用於印刷業中。此類UV光固化墨水不能照到UV光，因此印表機所採用的墨匣或輸送液體的管路，皆必須特別設計完全確實阻絶光線，避免光線提前固化尚未噴繪之墨水。
印表機有些已採用連續性大供墨系統，該系統是採用可替換性墨匣。此類墨匣通常設計為透明度高或半透明的殼壁，此殼壁雖然無法供使用者看清楚內部液體，但仍能清楚判斷墨匣內液面高度，進而研判墨量，藉此方便使用者評估更換墨水的時機，而非等到機器發出訊號才急忙更換。然而此類墨匣並無法供UV光固化墨水使用，因殼壁無法確實阻絶UV光，會使墨水提早固化，因此本創作人憑藉著多年的經驗，尋找解決的方法。
本創作之主要目的係提供一種用於光固化墨水之墨匣，該墨匣能有效阻斷特定波長的光線（如ＵＶ光），但又不影響使用者觀察判定墨匣內液面高度，進而適用於連續性大供墨系統，或是供其他儲存UV光固化墨水之墨匣使用。
為達上述之目的，本創作之墨匣周圍由數殼壁所構成，該數殼壁合圍形成一封閉空間，該空間用以填充UV光固化墨水，該殼壁為非透明但可透光的濾光板，顏色為黃色系或橘色糸，即為PCCS色相環中色相編號3~8，可阻斷紫外線通過，另外該殼壁可透光的特色，在UV光固化墨水填充後，能觀察出墨匣內部液面高度。
再者，該殼壁是由PP、PE及PBT等至少一種材料所構成，該殼壁厚度介於2~6mm，藉此該殼壁呈半透明板狀，而成為非透明但可透光的濾光板。
本創作之墨匣是將殼壁設計為黃色系或橘色系，具有類似濾光板之效果，藉此阻斷光波長為400~360nm之紫外光。該殼壁厚度介於2~6mm，呈現半透明板狀，在填充UV光固化墨水後，該墨匣內墨水所在處會因光線穿透不同介質而呈現不同明亮度，讓使用者輕鬆判定墨匣內之液面高度。
以下配合圖式及元件符號對本發明之實施方式做更詳細的說明，俾使熟習該項技藝者在研讀本說明書後能據以實施。
如圖1及圖2所示，為本創作用於光固化墨水之墨匣之立體圖及剖面圖。該墨匣1內部具有至少一空間11，該空間11可供填充UV光固化墨水。該墨匣1形狀及結構是依配合使用的印表機而為相對之設計，在本實施例中為一種供連續性大供墨系統所採用之可替換性墨匣，但並不以此限，任何用以填充UV光固化墨水之墨匣皆可適用。
該墨匣1的結構特性是必須為了有效阻斷光波長為400~360nm之紫外光(UV)進入內部，但仍必須具有適當的透光度，以供觀察墨匣1內的液面高度，故其結構有一些特殊的設計。該墨匣1周圍是數殼壁12所構成，該數殼壁12合圍形成封閉的該空間11，該殼壁12是由聚丙烯（Polypropylene，簡稱PP）、聚乙烯（polyethylene，縮寫PE）、聚對苯二甲酸丁二酯（Polybutylene terephthalate，簡寫作PBT）等至少一種材料所構成，且該殼壁12厚度介於2~6mm，顏色為黃色系或橘色系，即為PCCS色相環中色相編號3~8。PCCS 為Practical Color Co-ordinate System 的簡寫。藉此使該殼壁12為非透明但可透光的濾光板。
該殼壁12顏色是由前述塑料加入特種染料而製成，形成的黃色系或或橘色系牆壁。殼壁12因具特定頻色的關係可有效阻斷光波長為400~360nm之紫外光通過，故可確保墨匣內的UV光固化墨水不會受到外界光線照受而提前固化，藉此維持墨水品質。該殼壁12厚度介於2~6mm，形成半透明狀，具有適當的透光度，雖然無法讓使用者看清楚墨匣1內部液體，但仍能清楚判斷墨匣1內液面高度13，如圖3所示。故在實際運用於印表機時，使用者可藉由肉眼即可判定墨匣1內的墨量，評估更換墨水的時機，而非等到機器發出訊號才急忙更換。

Claims (3)

  1. 一種用於光固化墨水之墨匣，該墨匣周圍由數殼壁所構成，該數殼壁合圍形成一封閉空間，該空間用以填充UV光固化墨水，該殼壁為非透明但可透光的濾光板，顏色為黃色系或橘色糸，即為PCCS色相環中色相編號3~8，可阻斷UV光通過，另外該殼壁可透光的特色，在UV光固化墨水填充後，能觀察出墨匣內部液面高度。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之用於光固化墨水之墨匣，其中該殼壁是由PP、PE及PBT等至少一種材料所構成，該殼壁厚度介於2~6mm。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之用於光固化墨水之墨匣，其中該殼壁所阻擋之UV光的光波長為400~360nm。
