Description

電連接器組合
本發明涉及一種電連接器組合,其可插接一電子卡。
隨著電子設備通訊速率不斷提高的發展趨勢以及電子設備小型化的發展需求,對電連接器、電路板的設計要求越來越高。比如,主印刷電路板(即主機板)在臨近邊緣處設置有一連接器,用來供外部連接器或者電子卡插接,在靠近主機板中心或者內部側則設有另一電連接器,用來傳輸信號。兩電連接器之間通過主機板上線路傳輸。但是,不可避免的,容易造成信號或者能量的損失。為了改變此種情況,兩連接器之間則可能採用線纜來取代主機板的信號傳輸,但隨著電連接器的增加,會影響信號傳輸的效率,以及主機板的空間安排。
是故,有必要提供一種改良的電連接器組合來解決以上的問題。
本發明的目的在於提供一種電連接器組合,其能簡化主機板的線路設置。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明採用如下技術方案:一種電連接器組合,其包括扁平線纜、位於扁平線纜一端的卡緣連接器及卡鎖定結構;所述扁平線纜包括複數電線,所述卡緣連接器包括縱長的本體及兩排端子,所述本體設有沿其縱長方向延伸並向前貫穿的中央槽;兩排所述端子位於中央槽的兩側並包括延伸入所述中央槽的接觸部及連接部,所述連接部一一連接所述扁平 線纜的對應電線,所述中央槽用來供一電子卡插入,以達成信號傳輸;在所述電子卡插入中央槽時,所述卡鎖定結構將所述電子卡固定在所述本體。
為解決上述技術問題,本發明採用如下另一種技術方案:一種電連接器組合,其包括扁平線纜、位於扁平線纜一端的卡緣連接器、電子卡及卡鎖定結構;所述扁平線纜包括複數電線,所述卡緣連接器的前端設有縱長的中央槽,後端與所述扁平線纜的電線一一相連;所述電子卡插入中央槽,並由所述卡鎖定結構固定在所述卡緣連接器。
與現有技術相比,本發明的卡緣連接器直接與線纜相連接,減少主印刷電路板的電連接器設置,簡化整個系統。

請參第一圖至第三圖所示,本發明電連接器組合1包括扁平線纜90、以及裝配在扁平線纜兩端的第一接口92(或者稱外側端部或外側接口)及第二接口94(或者稱內側端部或內側接口),扁平線纜90由複數尺寸較小的電線96(由圖面可以看出是同軸線纜或者同軸電線,內有導電芯)組成。第一接口92包括位於扁平線纜90的外末端的外側連接器80,外側連接器80可以是MCIO、Gen-Z或者SlimLine等類型的電連接器,該等連接器由對應廠商開發,具有特定的對接口及端子數,外側連接器80用來與安裝在主電路板或主機板上的對應板端連接器80A相對接。第二接口94包括位於線纜90的內末端的內側連接器10,本實施例中,所述內側連接器10(即卡緣連接器10)為用來插接電子卡70的卡緣連接器。
參第三圖至第二十一圖所示,卡緣連接器10包括縱長的絕緣本體20,定義彼此對接的方向為前端,相對的則為後端。所述本體20設有沿其縱長方向延伸的中央槽22及位於中央槽兩側(即上下兩側)的兩排端子槽24,端子槽24位於垂直於前後方向與縱長方向的豎直方向,每一排端子槽24沿縱長方向排 列,每一端子槽24則沿本體20的前後方向延伸。一鍵扣21則形成在中央槽22內,主要考量電子卡70插入的方向性,即防誤插作用。
兩排端子50自本體20的後端向前插入端子槽24而完成組裝。每一端子50包括位於前端的彈性接觸部52及位於後端的連接部54,所述接觸部52延伸入中央槽22,連接部54則裸露在本體的後端。連接部54在與接觸部52連接的前端部的兩側設有倒刺結構53,從而形成固定部56,所述倒刺結構53用來將端子50定位在對應的端子槽24內。所述本體20在其後端設有前定位部26,所述前定位部26由複數一體形成在本體20後端的間隔肋28組成,用來將相鄰端子的連接部54彼此隔開、隔離。第六圖清楚可見,每一間隔肋28進一步形成有位於其兩側的側凸出部29,用來限制扁平線纜90的各電線96內的導電芯98,同時也可以看出,連接部54呈水平狀,其在上下方向上被壓制在所述側凸出部29的下方,下文將詳細描述。
一後定位部40則可自本體20分離,其包括縱長的主體部42、兩排分隔部44自主體部42的上、下緣分別延伸出,用來分離/隔離相鄰的電線96。本體20在所述前定位部26的相對兩端形成有一對收容座27,每一收容座27設有柱體25及L型的金屬制的加強片23,後定位部40在其縱長兩端形成有一對凸出部46,凸出部46則分別收容在對應的收容座27內,每一凸出部46設有一口袋部48,用來收容對應的柱體25,方便對齊。需注意的是,電線96收容在相鄰分隔部44之間的槽道內,導電芯98則收容在相鄰間隔肋的側凸出部29之間的空間內,用來固定/焊接相對應的端子的連接部54。一注塑蓋99則包覆在電線96的前部、後定位部40及前定位部26。在本實施例中,所述注塑蓋99在注塑過程中可能會進入端子槽24的後部分。
所述本體20還包括自本體的縱長兩端向前延伸的一對側臂30,每一側臂30設有與中央槽22對齊的導槽32及沿豎直方向貫穿的固定孔34。電子卡 70,比如PCIE卡,具有對接端72,對接端72自電子卡一側凸伸出且其上設置有一排導電墊74及一對準口75,對準口75用來容納位於中央槽22的鍵扣21。電子卡在對接端72的兩旁側設有一對安裝孔76。在電子卡70插入卡緣連接器10時,對接端72收容在中央槽22,一對螺栓77穿過固定孔34、安裝孔76後再由一螺帽79固定,從而將電子卡70固定在所述本體20內,所述螺栓77與螺帽79形成卡鎖定結構,當然,卡鎖定結構也可以是其他方式。
在現有技術中,用來收容電子卡的卡緣連接器一般焊接在主印刷電路板,卡緣連接器通過主印刷電路板的線路與內側板端連接器相連,線纜的一端連接有外側端部,另一端則連接有與內側板端連接器相對接的內側線端連接器,如此可知,線纜與習知的卡緣連接器並非直接連接。而本發明中,線纜直接連接有卡緣連接器,卡緣連接器通過一對側臂則直接鎖定電子卡,如此,整個連接系統則被簡化,尤其是採用線纜,而非電路板的線路穿過信號,可以大大改善高頻信號性能。
第十六圖至第二十一圖顯示了第二實施例,其結構與第一實施例大致相同,主要介紹不同點。其中後定位部40設有自其本體內表面向前凸伸的複數肋部49,肋部49插入對應本體後端面的端子槽24處,在豎直方向上以緊鄰對應端子50的連接部54,如此,保證注塑蓋99不能進入所述端子槽24。
以上僅為本發明的較佳實施例而已,不應以此限制本發明的範圍。即凡是依本發明權利要求書及本發明說明書內容所作的簡單的等效變化與修飾,皆應仍屬本發明專利涵蓋的範圍內。

Claims (9)

  1. 一種電連接器組合,其包括扁平線纜、位於扁平線纜一端的卡緣連接器及卡鎖定結構;所述扁平線纜包括複數電線,所述卡緣連接器包括縱長的本體及兩排端子,所述本體設有沿其縱長方向延伸並向前貫穿的中央槽;其中,兩排所述端子位於中央槽的兩側並包括延伸入所述中央槽的接觸部及連接部,所述連接部一一焊接所述扁平線纜的對應電線,所述中央槽用來供一電子卡插入,以達成信號傳輸;所述本體在其縱長方向兩端分別一體向前延伸出側臂,每一側臂設有與所述中央槽對齊的導槽,一對所述卡鎖定結構設置在對應的側臂;在所述電子卡插入中央槽且被夾持在兩所述側臂的導槽內時,所述卡鎖定結構將所述電子卡固定在所述本體。
  2. 如請求項1所述之電連接器組合,其中所述卡鎖定結構包括彼此配合的螺栓與螺母,所述螺栓沿垂直於所述電子卡的方向穿過所述側臂及電子卡而與所述螺母相固定。
  3. 如請求項2所述之電連接器組合,其中所述螺栓及螺母在未組裝時分別獨立於所述卡緣連接器。
  4. 如請求項1所述之電連接器組合,其中所述卡緣連接器包括設置在所述本體後端的前定位部,所述前定位部包括有複數用來固定端子的連接部的間隔肋。
  5. 如請求項4所述之電連接器組合,其中所述卡緣連接器包括位於所述前定位部後方的後定位部,所述後定位部設有複數用來固定所述扁平線纜的電線的分隔部。
  6. 如請求項5所述之電連接器組合,其中所述卡緣連接器包括注塑蓋,所述注塑蓋包覆在所述連接部、前定位部及後定位部。
  7. 如請求項1所述之電連接器組合,其中所述電連接器組合包括位於扁平線纜另一端的第一接口,第一接口為與一主印刷電路板配合的電連接器。
  8. 如請求項1所述之電連接器組合,其中所述電子卡具有凸出其邊 緣的對接部,所述對接部設置有導電墊,在所述對接部插入中央槽時,所述導電墊與端子的接觸部相對接;所述電子卡之位於對接部兩側的邊緣則被夾持在導槽內。
  9. 一種電連接器組合,其包括扁平線纜、位於扁平線纜一端的卡緣連接器、電子卡及卡鎖定結構;其中所述扁平線纜包括複數電線,所述卡緣連接器的前端設有縱長的中央槽,後端與所述扁平線纜的電線一一相連;所述本體在其縱長方向兩端分別向前一體延伸出側臂,每一側臂設有與所述中央槽對齊的導槽,所述卡鎖定結構設置在對應的側臂;在所述電子卡插入所述中央槽且被夾持在兩個所述側臂的導槽內;所述電子卡插入中央槽,並由所述卡鎖定結構沿垂直於電子卡的方向固定在所述卡緣連接器。
