Description
本發明是關於通式Fe3(PO4)2的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)與通式FeaMetb(POc)d之無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬或偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬或上述之混合物的新用途。
從文獻已知在電磁範圍的近紅外線範圍(NIR)中,換言之是在大約780nm至1400nm的波長範圍中的大量不同的有機與無機輻射吸收劑,以及這種吸收劑的可能用途。儘管它們普遍存在,但使用有機NIR吸收劑卻有許多缺點。例如,使用所謂的無色染料(leuco dye)需要加入熱酸產生劑(thermal acid generator,TAG)。在暴露於熱或雷射時,這些化合物釋放質子,引起無色染料顏色的變化。這種典型的TAG化合物包含來自有機矽或硼化合物的銨鹽或對羥苯甲酸苄酯(benzyl hydroxybenzoate)。再
者,有機NIR吸收劑通常在可見光區域表現吸收,並因此表現出它們自己的顏色,這在一些應用中是不希望有的。有機NIR吸收劑也大多是複雜的合成化合物,難以獲得且生產複雜,並且其用途與生態學及毒理學問題有關。即使有機化合物之相對低的熱穩定性也是這些NIR吸收劑的缺點,並且嚴重限制了它們的使用範圍。
多年來,已因而試圖用簡單且穩定的化合物代替有機化合物。以成本效益方式可得之非常簡單的強吸收劑例如是煙灰(soot)。然而,煙灰的使用亦有許多缺點。毫無疑問地,煙灰的最大缺點是其在廣泛的電磁頻譜範圍內的非特異性吸收,特別是在可見光範圍內的吸收,這導致其為黑色,以及由於其中合併有吸收劑的載體材料之不想要有的灰色或黑色。
使用各種無機金屬氧化物、礦物和複合化合物作為NIR吸收劑是可能的選擇。這些通常表現出良好的耐溫性,並且製造簡單與成本效益。
WO 2012/055742 A2是關於包括使用吸收IR輻射的化合物之熱塑性材料的拉伸吹製方法(stretch blow process)。在此方法中,由射出成型的聚烯烴組成物製造預製件(perform),該預製件包含磷酸鹽、縮合磷酸鹽或銅、鈣、錫或鐵的氫氧化物磷酸鹽作為IR吸收劑。而後使用IR輻射加熱該預製件,並且在拉伸吹製方法中塑形。在實例中提及鹼式磷酸銅(Copper hydroxide phosphate)(Cu2(OH)PO4)作為IR吸收劑。使用此吸收劑係用以確保改

WO 2005/052049是關於熱塑性聚合物,其含有通式Mex(PO4)y(OH)z的IR吸收劑,其中Me由Cu、Fe、Mn、Sb、Zn、Ti、Ni、Co、V、Mg、Bi、Be、Al、Ce、Ba、Sr、Na、K、Ge、Ga、Ca、Cr、In或Sn群組中的一或多個元素組成,並且x=1-18、y=1-12且z=0.2-10。然而,唯一明確提及且優選的吸收劑是單金屬與混合金屬磷酸銅化合物,並且與WO 2012/055742A2一樣,實施例專有地關於鹼式磷酸銅(Copper hydroxide phosphate)(Cu2(OH)PO4)。
DE 39 17 294 A1揭露可雷射雕刻聚合物,其包含作為吸收劑的聚集體,其本身不應具有顏色或者應當僅在400nm至750nm的可見光範圍內具有非常有限的顏色,並且藉由900nm以上光譜之IR範圍內及/或400nm以下光譜的UV範圍內的雷射束作用應產生具有顯著色彩對比度的標記。DE 39 17 294 A1揭露氧化鉬(VI)(MoO3)與鹼式磷酸銅作為吸收聚集體,後者特別適合。提及二氧化鈦、鈦黃和紅色氧化鐵作為進一步的聚集體,但是為了提供聚合物因而在其上寫上與這些物質之顏色對應的背景顏色:白色、黃色或紅色。
先前技術中的許多其它文獻也已知鹼式磷酸銅作為優異的IR輻射吸收劑,其自身沒有明顯的顏色,這就是它已經在很多應用中被使用作為輻射吸收劑多年的原因。這樣的例子是上述拉伸吹製方法中聚合物的加熱、雷射標記與熱塑性材料的雷射焊接以及其中或多或少透明聚
合物吸收IR輻射與/或UV輻射的其它應用,並且可取決於應用而實現載體材料的較高或較低的加溫(warming)程度。至今,已知幾乎沒有吸收劑在吸收能力方面達到鹼式磷酸銅的優異性能,同時具有高熱穩定性和化學穩定性且吸收劑本身沒有顏色。鹼式磷酸銅在約800-1600nm的波長範圍中有顯著的吸收。
已知作為優異吸收劑的鹼式磷酸銅和其他磷酸銅化合物的一個缺點在於製造成本相對較高。除此之外,事實是就水保護的理由而言,理想的情況是銅應該不會進入廢水中或是必須以高成本從水中去除,這就是在許多應用中避免使用銅化合物的原因。
因此,本發明的目的是提供各種用途的吸收劑,其相較於先前技術具有優點,以及在吸收NIR輻射方面,相較於已知的吸收劑為類似地適合或甚至更合適,且同時具有高熱穩定性和化學穩定性,無顏色或其自身的有限顏色,並且不會引起毒理學或生態學問題。
根據本發明,藉由以下的使用而達到此目的

作為電磁輻射的吸收劑,該吸收劑精細地分佈或溶解在載體材料中。
令人驚訝的,發現根據本發明的無結晶水單金屬正磷酸鐵(II)與通式FeaMetb(POc)d之無結晶水混合的金屬磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬在電磁頻譜的NIR範圍內具有非常良好的吸收性質,並且如鹼式磷酸銅在380-780nm的可見光波長譜內僅具有低量的吸收,因此它們本身很少具有顏色。
在本發明的實施例中,吸收劑為通式Fe3(PO4)2的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)並且具有磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構。
無結晶水Fe3(PO4)2的其他結晶結構亦為已知,例如斜磷錳鐵礦(sarcopside)結晶結構,它是Ni3(PO4)2之類橄欖石結構的同型(isotype)。與此相比,磷鐵錳礦
(graftonite)結晶結構的無結晶水Fe3(PO4)2顯示自身為特別有利的吸收劑,在大約800-1250nm的波長範圍內具有非常高的吸收量,更好的是在900-1100nm的波長範圍內,並且在大約1000nm具有吸收最大值。
相對於此,與磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構中的無結晶水Fe3(PO4)2相比,具有斜磷錳鐵礦(sarcopside)結晶結構的Fe3(PO4)2在800-1250nm的波長範圍內之吸收較低。
不與理論結合,本案發明人假設根據本發明之Fe(II)化合物的有利吸收性質不僅是由於二價鐵與磷酸根陰離子或膦酸根陰離子的存在,而是也由於缺少結晶水。除此之外,已經有利地證實某些晶體結構優於其它晶體結構,特別是比較無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)的磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構與已知為正磷酸鐵(II)的磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構。含有結晶水的正磷酸鐵(II)亦為已知,例如八水合物藍鐵礦(octahydrate vivianite)Fe3(PO4)2 8H2O,而後命名為藍鐵礦結晶結構。然而,這不具有根據本發明之有利的吸收性質。正磷酸鐵(III)亦不具有根據本發明之具有磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結構的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)之有利的吸收性質。
具有式Fe3(PO4)2的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)的磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構係以礦物磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)(Fe,Mn,Ca,Mg)3(PO4)2命名。結晶系統為單斜層(monocline),空間群為P2 1 /c,晶格常數約為a8.81Å,b11.56Å,
c6,14Å,α90,00°,β99,35°,γ90.00°。單位晶格含有八個化學式單位(formula unit)Fe1.5PO4。磷與氧為四面配位,並且鐵(II)發生在三個不同的四層(4e)中,各自具有不同的配位幾何:1x扭曲的八面體,其中一個配位氧離子明顯更遠(d~2.68Å),以及2x三角雙錐。因此,磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)系統中的鐵原子不需要反轉中心而配位。與陰離子的最密堆積的顯著偏差可能是由於配位需求的最佳化。
磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構中的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)在NIR範圍之非常好的吸收以及作為本文所述的各種應用中的吸收劑之優異適用性是令人驚訝的。在不承諾理論的情況下,發明人對於良好吸收性質解釋如下。
經由過渡金屬錯合物的電磁輻射吸收是由d-殼內的電子躍遷(electron transistion)引起的。這些躍遷(transistion)的吸收可能性主要取決於過渡金屬錯合物。由於中心對稱分子(Laporte規則)禁止相同軌道平價的電子躍遷,因而這些的吸收相應地低,正如正磷酸鐵(III)FePO4的情況那樣,其中鐵以八面體方式配位。
然而,如果分子不具有反轉中心,則與根據本發明之具有磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構的無結晶水正鐵磷酸鐵(II)的情況一樣,但是在本發明之通式為FeaMetb(POc)d的混合金屬鐵(II)化合物的情況下,Laporte法則不再適用,並且吸收相應地更高。因此,本發明的吸收劑是具有結晶結構的鐵的過渡金屬錯合物,其中
該錯合物相對於中心原子不具有反轉中心。
與例如藍鐵礦(vivianite)Fe3(PO4)2*8 H2O的結晶結構或斜磷錳鐵礦(sarcopside)結晶結構中的無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)Fe3(PO4)2(其具有相對於中心鐵原子為反轉中心的八面配位)相比,此配位是令人驚訝地有利。這顯然使吸收相應地低於本發明的化合物在NIR範圍內的吸收。
對應的考量亦適用於本發明通式FeaMetb(POc)d之無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬與偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬,其中這些具備沒有反轉中心的鐵配位。
根據本發明,較佳無結晶水磷酸鐵(II)金屬為化合物SrFeP2O7、BaFeP2O7、KFePO4、K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4與K(Fe0.75Mg0.25)PO4。例如,SrFeP2O7與BaFeP2O7由於三角雙錐體或由於二次金字塔而具有定義的結構,並且同時在約800-1150nm和約1800-2500nm的波長情況下,在NIR範圍內具有非常高的吸收量。
本發明之具有四面體配位的鐵(II)原子的化合物也不具有反轉中心並在NIR範圍內顯示明顯的吸收。因此,根據本發明,較佳為正磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬以及偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬。在這些之中,特別較佳為無結晶水KFePO4、K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4與K(Fe0.75Mg0.25)PO4。在這些無結晶水磷酸鐵(II)金屬中,在NIR範圍的吸收特別明顯,並且延伸於穿過從約780nm至2500nm且更遠的整個IR範圍之幾乎均勻的形狀。特別
是在需要穿過整個IR範圍的廣泛吸收之應用領域中,例如在包裝材料中,使用這些是有利的,其目的在於保護包裝產品(例如食物)免受IR輻射。
吸收劑通常精細地分佈在載體材料中。取決於載體材料與吸收劑,它也可以完全或部分溶解在載體材料中。
在本發明的較佳實施例中,吸收劑以載體材料與其所包含之任何聚集體(包含吸收劑)的總重量為基準計,為1ppm至20重量%或10ppm至10重量%的濃度(較佳為10ppm至10重量%或100ppm至5重量%的濃度),以精細地分佈或溶解方式存在於載體材料中。在本發明的內容中,載體材料的總重量總是以載體材料總質量與所添加的物質之質量為基準。若吸收劑的百分比太低,則對於預期的應用,吸收效果可能太低。然而,吸收劑的百分比太高可造成載體材料的材料性質受損。根據本發明的吸收劑及吸收劑之需要的或合適的性質傳達給具有本發明之知識的該技藝之技術人士,基於其技術與知識且考量本文列出的例子,選擇對於每一個應用都是合適且可取的載體材料。
相較於其他吸收劑,本發明中的化合物提供廣泛的優點。此可以相對容易地製造且成本相對較低,以及例如與有機或金屬有機吸收劑相比具有高程度的穩定性。它們是無結晶水,造成所有輻射由實際的錯合物吸收而非部分被結晶水吸收。再者,它們在NIR範圍有特別高的吸收程度,但在電磁輻射的可見光範圍內僅有弱的吸收
程度,造成他們本身不具有顏色或是具有非常少的顏色並且對載體材料的顏色沒有重大影響,但是藉由NIR輻射非常容易地活化該錯合物。
在約780-1450nm的短波NIR輻射(IR-A)波長範圍中具有最大吸收程度的化合物具有之優勢為在此IR範圍內,可以獲得更多的能量,這是由於約1450-3000nm之長波NIR輻射(R-B)的吸收,因而在相應的應用中可實現載體材料之更高的加熱程度。
根據本發明之特別有利的化合物是在可見光範圍中有低吸收程度且在電磁頻譜的短波NIR範圍中有高吸收程度的那些NIR吸收劑。在780-1450nm之短波NIR輻射(IR-A)波長範圍中的電磁輻射之最大吸收與380-780nm(VIS)之可見光波長範圍中的電磁輻射之最大吸收之比率應有利地為至少1.3,較佳為至少1.6,特佳為至少1.8。
在根據本發明的用途中,使用雷射束作為吸收劑精細分佈或溶解於其中的載體材料的輻射源可為有利的,較佳為波長在780nm至1500nm範圍中的雷射束,特佳為在900nm至1200nm範圍中。從光微影已知的所謂準分子雷射(excimer laser)的使用適用於此。特別合適的準分子雷射是ArF、KrF、XeCl、XeF和KrCl雷射。從醫學技術已知的Nd:YAG雷射的使用也是有利的,這些較佳是於1064nm或946nm的波長處使用,換言之,在NIR範圍中。雷射束特別適合於為輻射達到清晰的輪廓,並且在需要或必要時達到局部狹窄劃定的(delimited)高能量輸入。根據
本發明的用途(其中雷射束特別有利於載體材料的輻射方面)例如雷射焊接、雷射標記以及較佳從非傳導載體材料上的傳導路徑結構產生導電金屬結構(LDS方法)。
本發明內文中的載體材料可為任何有機或無機材料,其可以精細地分佈或溶解方式含有根據本發明之用途的吸收劑。該吸收劑較佳係均勻分佈於在載體材料中,因為這種類型的均勻分佈非常容易使用一般加工方法(例如擠出)來實現。或者,還有一種選擇是吸收劑在載體材料的某些區域比其他區域更高度集中。也可以在載體材料中或載體材料的一部分中找到吸收劑,以濃度梯度為特徵的濃度差異。例如,如果在載體材料的表面區域中有目標吸收並且在較深區域中吸收較少,則區域中的目標積聚可以導致改善的材料性質和有利的吸收性質。
根據本發明,載體材料較佳地選自於由熱塑性聚合物、硬塑料聚合物、氧化陶瓷、非氧化陶瓷、玻璃、熱熔黏著劑、染料,清漆(varnish)和矽、紙、紙漿(pulp)與紙板以及具有各種懸浮劑的懸浮液所組成的群組。
載體材料特佳為熱塑性聚合物,其係選自由聚乙烯縮丁醛(PVB)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚乙烯(PE)、聚醯胺(PA)、聚酯,例如,聚對苯二甲酸丁二酯(PBT)、聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)、聚伸苯醚(polyphenylene oxide)、聚縮醛、聚甲基丙烯酸酯、聚甲醛、聚乙烯縮醛、聚苯乙烯、丙烯酸丁二烯苯乙烯(ABS)、丙烯腈苯乙烯丙烯酸酯
(ASA)、聚碳酸酯、聚醚碸、聚磺酸酯、聚四氟乙烯、聚脲、甲醛樹脂、三聚氰胺樹脂、聚醚酮、聚氯乙烯、聚乳酸、聚矽氧烷、酚樹脂、環氧樹脂、聚(醯亞胺)、雙馬來醯亞胺-三氮雜苯、熱塑性聚胺酯、上述聚合物的共聚物與/或混合物所組成的群組。
在大部分的情況下,熱塑性聚合物為無色,並且它們的顏色和/或透明性不受或僅受到添加根據本發明的吸收劑的輕微影響,其在許多應用情況下是特別有利的。根據本發明的吸收劑通常具有長保存期限(shelf life)和高程度的穩定性。它們為高耐溫性,所以即使與聚芳醯胺或液晶聚合物(LCP)等高溫塑料結合複合或射出成型是可能的。
在本發明的較佳實施例中,吸收劑具有的平均粒子尺寸(d50值)是在0.01μm與50μm的區域中,較佳在0.1μm至20μm的區域中,特佳在1μm至10μm的區域中。太小的粒子尺寸具有導致聚積物(agglomerate)的缺點,該聚積物而後必須分解。太高的粒子尺寸具有使其例如不能生產薄膜或非常薄組件的缺點。低粒子尺寸的顆粒的引入是指材料性能受到的影響不如高粒子尺寸,並且達到更均勻的吸收行為且避免局部過熱。
本技藝的技術人士可以使用一般方法,如光散射和顯微方法,以確定平均粒子尺寸。使用雷射粒子尺寸測量裝置(Horiba的LA-950V2型號;軟體版本7.2),測定根據本發明此處所指定的平均粒子尺寸。
與許多已知的吸收劑相比,根據本發明的吸收劑在溫度方面特別穩定。在本發明的內容中,這是指在一定的溫度範圍內不會發生顯著的轉化、分解或水合過程。為了檢查吸收劑的溫度穩定性,將吸收劑的樣品暴露於定義的溫度達16小時,並且在該溫度處理之後,將確定量的經溫度處理之吸收劑的吸收與未處理的吸收劑在某個波長或某個波長範圍內的吸收進行比較。應有利地在未處理的吸收劑之最大吸收波長下進行比較。如果經溫度處理的吸收劑的吸收比未處理的吸收劑大了>80%,較佳為>90%,特佳為>95%,則認為吸收劑在溫度方面是穩定的。
在根據本發明的用途中,載體材料有利地不包含任何在加熱至300℃(較佳至400℃,特佳至500℃)之後且/或在通過衰變而暴露於電磁輻射、化學轉化或與載體材料或載體材料本身的內含物(至少不是大量)反應之後而釋放氣體的添加劑,其可能對載體材料的材料性質具有負面影響。載體材料的材料性質可能由於形成和起泡的氣體而降低。因此,如果載體材料含有任何的這些載體材料,釋放氣體的添加劑佔載體材料的百分比以載體材料的總質量之重量為計,較佳為小於1重量%,更佳為小於0.1重量%,特佳為小於0.01重量%。
本發明包括本發明之吸收劑用以製造由載體材料組成或包括載體材料之產品的用途,由此載體材料包含吸收劑的量,使得其吸收波長至少在780nm至1400nm範圍內的紅外線輻射比不含吸收劑的相同聚合物更強。以下
將更詳細地描述根據本發明的產品。
a)根據本發明的優點為根據本發明的吸收劑之使用以製造用於商業產品的包裝材料,其中載體材料是熱塑性聚合物或硬塑料聚合物,較佳為透明聚合物或硬塑性聚合物。
在包裝材料中使用吸收劑是指對於輻射敏感的商業產品(例如,食物)以及例如可能因為較長的持續輻射而改變其顏色的產品受到保護而免受輻射與/或藉由光或太陽輻射而加熱。就食品而言,這可以顯著增加其保存期限,而不需要使用有色包裝材料。在此方式中,產品可以經由包裝材料呈現給消費者,同時保護產品免受有害輻射。
再者,防止輻射亦可減少分解反應以及對於包裝材料本身(特別是熱塑性或硬塑料材料)的破壞,例如材料的交聯、脆化或褪色。
除此之外,根據本發明的化合物大部分在毒理學和生態學上都是無害的,這就是與許多其他NIR吸收劑相比,它們特別適合用於例如食品包裝或用於兒童玩具包裝的原因。它們不釋放任何有害健康或影響物品口味的物質,並且它們也不會對包裝材料的材料性質具有負面影響。
在此用途的較佳實施例中,吸收劑為具有四面體結構的正磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬或偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬,較佳為KFePO4、
K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4或K(Fe0.75Mg0.25)PO4,由於這些吸收劑在非常寬的範圍內具有高吸收,幾乎整個NIR光譜,例如可以在太陽輻射中發現的光譜,因此保護產品與/或包裝材料。
b)根據本發明的優點亦為使用根據本發明的吸收劑來製造窗玻璃,載體材料有利地是透明熱塑性聚合物、透明硬塑料聚合物或玻璃。
當使用窗玻璃時,特別是由熱塑性材料例如聚甲基丙烯酸甲酯或聚碳酸酯製成的窗玻璃時,由於日光照射而常發生窗玻璃封閉的區域內的加溫(warming)。如果NIR輻射可以不受阻礙地通過玻璃,則由於吸收NIR輻射並且將其轉化為通過窗玻璃後面的組件的長波熱輻射而發生加溫。由於長波熱輻射只返回向外輻射到一定程度,因而產生「溫室效應」。為了盡可能降低這種情況,應盡可能減少通過窗玻璃的NIR輻射之傳輸。現有技術中用於窗玻璃的大部分NIR吸收劑都是基於稀土金屬或過渡金屬化合物,它們本身具有顏色或難以取得且昂貴。根據本發明的鐵化合物提供以簡單方式與低成本製造透明窗玻璃的機會。藉由輻射的吸收,大幅減少由穿透性輻射引起的窗玻璃後面的加溫。
在此用途的一較佳實施例中,吸收劑為具有四面體結構的磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬或偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬,較佳為KFePO4、K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4或K(Fe0.75Mg0.25)PO4,由於這些吸收劑
在非常寬的範圍內具有高吸收,幾乎整個NIR光譜,例如可以在太陽輻射中發現的光譜,因此防止基本上在整個IR範圍內由輻射引起的加溫。
c)根據本發明的優點亦為使用根據本發明的吸收劑來製造預製件,該預製件被提供並設計用於進一步加工成為最終產品,較佳成為容器,特佳在熱再成型(thermal reshaping)方法(較佳為拉伸方法或拉伸吹製方法)中成為食品容器或瓶子,其中載體材料是熱塑性聚合物,較佳為透明熱塑性聚合物。
熱聚合物再成型程序(例如拉伸或拉伸吹製)大部分是具有低程度的處理靈活性之複雜且耗能高的方法。在聚合物處理過程中,藉由根據本發明的NIR吸收劑的用途,可以使這種方法更靈活和更有效率。在IR輻射的位置和時間方面之確切適用性與投入能力(dosing ability)是指可隨時適應個別需求和要求的處理。在本文中,優點在於根據本發明的NIR吸收劑具有高程度的耐溫性。
d)根據本發明的優點亦為使用根據本發明的吸收劑,從在熱再成型程序製造的熱塑性聚合物製造成最終產品,較佳在拉伸方法或拉伸吹製方法中;
本發明的另一較佳實施例包括使用吸收劑在暴露於電磁輻射之輻射(較佳為暴露於波長至少在780nm至1400nm區域內的紅外線輻射)的熱塑性或硬塑料材料、熱熔黏著劑、染料、清漆或聚矽氧(silicone)中,作為加熱加速劑與/或聚合加速劑與/或交聯加速劑。
由於傳輸或光散射引起的輻射損失在含有根據本發明的吸收劑的載體材料中比在不含根據本發明的添加劑的材料中更小,所以可以用較高加熱速率以相同的輻射功率進行加熱,並且因而顯著降低散熱器的必要輸出與/或輻射期間。高吸收也可用於加速化學聚合反應與/或交聯反應。這可能是由於升高的輻射吸收所導致的溫度升高或者藉由從IR吸收劑向化學反應中的成分轉移能量而發生的。
根據本發明的吸收劑的用途特佳是用於熱誘發的聚合或交聯反應,例如自由基聚以及用於清漆(例如,透明清漆)的NIR硬化,其通常僅在NIR範圍內吸收很差並且因而只能緩慢地變硬。吸收添加劑的使用對於這種類型的應用是已知的,但是這種類型的添加劑已知具有缺點。例如,TiO2在NIR範圍內反射,而煙灰(soot)具有高程度的吸收,但導致可見光範圍內的顏色變化。因此,根據本發明的吸收劑的使用由於在硬化過程中在基板上的高帶速與低程度的熱負載而特別有利。沒有必須使用並導致缺點的其它添加劑,使用根據本發明的吸收劑之清漆硬化通常比沒有使用吸收劑顯著更快。
本發明亦包含使用根據本發明的吸收劑作為在雷射標記、雷射雕刻、雷射焊接與/或聚合物接合中之電磁輻射的吸收劑。在本文中,同樣地,通常是作為載體材料的透明或染色的熱塑性或硬塑料聚合物。雷射的使用是指非常特定的區域可暴露於輻射且在此程序中局部加
熱,因而當雷射標記、雷射刻字與雷射焊接時,可達到清晰的輪廓和精確的結構。
在較佳實施例中,吸收劑是作為紅外線輻射吸收劑,作為在非傳導載體材料(LDS方法)上製造導電金屬結構(較佳為傳導路徑結構)中之根據本發明的用途的一部分。

X射線繞射測定法(X-ray diffractometry,XRD)
在根據以下實例製造的產品中,使用D8 Advance A25型繞射儀(Bruker)與CuKα輻射進行X射線繞射測量(XRD)。
基於來自ICDD(國際繞射資料中心)先前JCPDS(粉末繞射標準聯合委員會)資料庫的相應參考繞射圖(粉末繞射檔案;Powder Diffraction File,PDF)識別產物及其晶體結構。如果沒有PDF卡可用於製造的產品,則使用同型化合物(isotype compound)的PDF卡(=相同結構類型的化合物)。
藉由使用Axios FAST光譜儀(PANalytical)的x射線螢光分析(XRF)進行元素分析,以判定和確認所製造產品的化學計量。
將具有下列組成的懸浮液噴霧造粒:i)35.5kg氧化鐵(III)-氫氧化物[FeO(OH)或Fe2O3 1H2O],ii)16.5kg 98%膦酸[H3PO3],iii)26.5kg 75%磷酸[H3PO4]以及LA:220kg水。
以此方式所得到的顆粒在旋轉窯中於700℃的形式氣體氣氛(H2在N2中為5體積%)中經溫度處理達平均停留時間為4小時。獲得幾乎無色至略帶粉紅色的產物。該產物的x射線繞射圖(XRD)如圖1所示。使用PDF卡01-072-1516識別該產物。

使用擠出器(Coperion公司製造的ZSK18型),將根據製造實例3之2重量%的吸收劑Fe3(PO4)2均勻地分散在聚乙烯(BASF製造的Lupolen 1800S)中。而後,從擠出器製備3cm×4cm×3mm的板。而後,製造具有相同尺寸的板,但沒有添加吸收劑。將沒有吸收劑的板放置在具有吸收劑的板上,而後使用波長為1064nm的Nd:YAG雷射將該等板焊接。
將根據本發明的吸收劑材料磷酸鐵II鎂、根據製造實例2的Mg1.5Fe1.5(PO4)2和Fe3(PO4)2的相混合物與1重量%焦磷酸二氫鈉混合。而後,使用擠出器(Coperion GmbH的ZSK18型)與製造的顆粒,將5重量%的混合物加工到聚醯胺6.6(BASF的UltramidTM)。而後,將顆粒進一步加工成3cm×4cm×3mm的板。用波長為1064nm的Nd:YAG雷射(Trumpf)照射該板,並且產生而後可用於接收電磁輻射的天線結構。
使用擠出器(Coperion公司的ZSK18型),將根據製造實例6之5重量%的吸收劑K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4均勻地分散在聚丙烯(Borealis的HE125MO)中。從擠出物製造3cm×4cm×3cm的板,而後用習知的IR燈(紅光燈)照射。為了比較目的,以相同的方式輻射沒有吸收劑添加劑之相同的聚合物體。在輻射期間記錄該體隨時間的溫度。在具有由根據本發明之吸收劑所組成的添加劑的聚合物體中,1分鐘後達到77℃的溫度,而在沒有添加吸收劑的聚合物體中,在輻射5分鐘後僅達到77℃的溫度。在整個時間段內相較於沒有添加吸收劑的聚合物體的溫度記錄曲線,添加根據本發明之吸收劑的聚合物體的溫度記錄曲線具有幾乎兩倍快的加熱速率。
使用擠出器(Coperion GmbH的ZSK18型),將根據本發明製造實例4之2重量%的吸收劑KFe(PO4)均勻加工到聚乙烯(BASF的Lupolen 1800S)中。而後,從擠出物製備3cm×4cm×3mm的板。而後,藉由波長為1064nm的Nd:YAG雷射照射在板的表面上做標記。為了比較目的,用相同的方式對僅無吸收劑添加劑的相同聚合物板進行雷射標記。在具有根據本發明之吸收劑的聚合物板中,即使是使用1瓦輸出且6000赫茲頻率的雷射,標記也清晰可見。經照射之參考板(其在相同條件下不含吸收劑)上沒有可見的標記。
由聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯(PET)的母料(master batch)與根據製造實例6之500ppm的K(Fe0.75Zn0.25)PO4製造預製件,如同將它們用於製造飲料瓶。為了比較的目的,還製造了相同的預製件,但沒有添加吸收劑。使用IR鹵素加熱器加熱預製件,直到聚合物的玻璃轉移點(glass transition point)。在添加吸收劑的預製件中,加熱所需的能量大約低15%,並且所需照射的所需時間比無吸收劑的預製件短約20%。
將未交聯的矽塊(silicon mass)與根據製造實
例3之0.05重量%的具磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構的無結晶水Fe3(PO4)2混合,而後加入習知的過氧化物交聯劑。而後,使用VCSEL雷射(Phillips),以波長為980nm的雷射光廣泛加熱該矽塊。為了比較目的,以相同的方式處理不含任何吸收劑的相同矽塊。包含根據本發明之吸收劑的矽的交聯在110秒後已經完成,而沒有吸收劑的矽的交聯則需要120秒。因此,根據本發明之吸收劑的少量添加是指可減少交聯所需的能量與因而交聯的時間。
使用擠出器(Coperion的ZSK18型),將根據製造實例3之具有磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構的4重量%的無結晶水Fe3(PO4)2均勻地加工到聚醯胺6.6(BASF的UltramidTM),並且由此製造了用於汽車工業的模製部分,其在乘用車輛中用作尾燈。將要連接(焊接)到上述組件的另一組件是由相同的材料製成,但沒有吸收劑。而後,使用波長為940nm之習知的二極管雷射焊接該兩個組件。為了比較的目的,試圖焊接相應的組件,這兩個組件都沒有吸收劑,但是這不可能沒有破壞。
Claims (11)
- 一種無結晶水Fe(II)化合物作為電磁輻射吸收劑的用途,其中該無結晶水Fe(II)化合物係選自:-通式Fe3(PO4)2之無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)或-通式FeaMetb(POc)d之無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II)金屬、膦酸鐵(II)金屬、焦磷酸鐵(II)金屬或偏磷酸鐵(II)金屬,其中a是從1至5的數字,b為從>0至5的數字,c是從2.5至5的數字,d是從0.5至3的數字以及Met代表選自由Li、Na、K、Rb、Cs、Mg、Ca、Sr、Ba、過渡金屬(d嵌段)、第三、第四和第五主族的金屬與半金屬和鑭系元素所組成群組的一或多種金屬,或上述磷酸鹽的組合,以及其中該吸收劑係精細地分佈或溶解在載體材料中。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該吸收劑以精細分佈或溶解方式存在於該載體材料中之濃度為以該載體材料與其所含之任何包含該吸收劑的聚積物之總重量為基準計,從1ppm至20重量%。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該載體材料係選自於由熱塑性與硬塑料聚合物、氧化陶瓷、非氧化陶瓷、玻璃、熱熔黏著劑、染料,清漆(varnish)、矽、紙板、紙、紙漿(pulp)與纖維素所組成的群組。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該載體材料為選自於由聚乙烯縮丁醛(PVB)、聚丙烯(PP)、聚乙烯(PE)、聚醯胺(PA)、聚酯、聚伸苯醚(polyphenylene oxide)、聚縮醛、聚甲基丙烯酸酯、聚甲醛、聚乙烯縮醛、聚苯乙烯、丙烯酸丁二烯苯乙烯(ABS)、丙烯腈苯乙烯丙烯酸酯(ASA)、聚碳酸酯、聚醚碸、聚磺酸酯、聚四氟乙烯、聚脲、甲醛樹脂、三聚氰胺樹脂、聚醚酮、聚氯乙烯、聚乳酸、聚矽氧烷、酚樹脂、環氧樹脂、聚(醯亞胺)、雙馬來醯亞胺-三氮雜苯、熱塑性聚胺酯共聚物、與/或上述聚合物的混合物所組成之群組的熱塑性聚合物。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該吸收劑具有在0.01μm至50μm之區域內的平均粒子尺寸(d50值)。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該吸收劑為通式Fe3(PO4)2之無結晶水正磷酸鐵(II),並且具有磷鐵錳礦(graftonite)結晶結構。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,用以製造由該載體材料所組成或包含該載體材料的產物,藉以該載體材料含有一定量的該吸收劑,使得其吸收波長至少在780nm至1400nm區域內的紅外線輻射比不含該吸收劑的相 同聚合物更強,以及其中該產物是選自於由以下所組成的群組:-包裝材料,其中該載體材料是熱塑性或硬塑料聚合物;-窗玻璃,其中該載體材料是透明熱塑性聚合物、透明硬塑料聚合物或玻璃;-預製件,其被提供並設計用於進一步加工成為最終產品,其中該載體材料是熱塑性聚合物;-在熱再成型程序製造的熱塑性聚合物所製成的最終產品。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,以電磁輻射照射時,在熱塑性或硬塑料材料、熱熔黏著劑、染料、清漆或聚矽氧(silicone)中作為加熱加速劑與/或聚合加速劑與/或交聯加速劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,在雷射標記、雷射雕刻、雷射焊接與/或聚合物接合中作為電磁輻射的吸收劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,在非傳導載體材料上使用雷射束製造導電金屬結構(LDS方法)中作為紅外線輻射之吸收劑。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項之吸收劑之用途,其中該吸收劑的最大吸收是在780nm至1,450nm區域中的波長,所吸收的輻射包含雷射輻射與/或非雷射輻射。
