Abstract

Description
本發明係關於基於含活性亞甲基樹脂及聚異氰酸酯之可固化塗料組合物、經該等可固化塗料組合物塗覆之基材及製備該等塗料之方法。
高固體含量塗料係用於各個行業中。當前可獲得之使用聚亞甲基樹脂之裝飾性上塗層(topcoat)因在交聯製程期間發生過度黃化而受限。活化亞甲基化合物之交聯反應可為鹼催化之加成反應,其產生呈高度黃色之塗料組合物。另外,當前可獲得之塗料可自聚亞甲基樹脂與多胺反應製得,但該等反應產生呈高度黃色之共軛氯胺酮產物。

包含69.2% R-960-38二氧化鈦、19.25%之丙烯酸研磨樹脂、11.16%甲基戊基酮及0.38% Bentone SD-2黏土之白色色膏 塗料A及B係藉由使乙醯乙酸酯丙烯酸聚合物與白色色膏、乙酸丁酯及脂肪族聚異氰酸酯混合來製備,如表14中所示。塗料B添加有辛酸鋅觸媒。使用60號繞線棒將所有塗料下拉於2×2英吋載玻片上並量測顏色及光澤。使用X-Rite ci7800臺式分光光度計量測顏色並記錄黃度(b*)。在進行顏色量測之前使塗層A及B固化。 表15
如自表15可以看出,如自低b*值明顯可見,含有辛酸鋅觸媒之塗層未顯著黃化。塗層A與塗層B之間之b*值差異小於1.0 (b*值分別為0.17與0.37)。 本發明進一步包括以下條款之標的物。 條款1:一種可固化塗料組合物,其包含:(a) 聚合物,其包含至少兩個活性亞甲基官能基;(b) 聚異氰酸酯交聯劑;及(c) 過渡金屬觸媒。 條款2:如條款1之可固化塗料組合物,其中該等活性亞甲基官能基包含至少一個乙醯乙酸酯官能基。 條款3:如條款1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚合物(a)進一步包含至少一個羥基、羧基、環氧基、烷氧基矽烷及/或酸酐官能基。 條款4:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其中該過渡金屬觸媒包含鋅錯合物、鎳錯合物及鈷錯合物之至少一者。 條款5:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其進一步包含不同於聚合物(a)之包含至少一個活性亞甲基官能基之化合物(d)。 條款6:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其中聚合物(a)包含至少一個含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚丙烯酸酯或含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚酯或二者。 條款7:如條款6之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚合物(a)包含含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚丙烯酸酯,其中該聚丙烯酸酯包含小於85重量%之單體,其均聚物具有低於-40℃之玻璃轉換溫度(Tg)。 條款8:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚異氰酸酯交聯劑包含異佛爾酮二異氰酸酯、1,6-六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、異氰尿酸酯、亞胺基氧雜二嗪二酮、縮二脲、脲基甲酸酯、脲二酮、二聚物、三聚物及/或其混合物。 條款9:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其中當將該塗料組合物作為塗層施加至基材並固化時,該固化塗層在1,000小時之SAE J2527耐久性測試之後展現3個∆E單位之最大顏色變化。 條款10:如前述條款中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物,其中,當將該塗料組合物作為塗層施加至基材並固化時,該固化塗層與無過渡金屬觸媒之塗料組合物之間的b*之差值小於1。 條款11:一種基材,其至少部分地經自如條款1至10中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物沈積之塗層塗覆。 條款12:一種多層塗層,其包含:(a) 第一塗層,其係自如條款1至10中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物製備;及(b) 第二塗層,該第二塗層係自不同於(a)且包含第二種成膜樹脂之塗料組合物製備。 條款13:一種製備塗層之方法,其包含:(i) 將如條款1至10中任一條款之可固化塗料組合物施加至基材之至少一部分上;及(ii) 將該可固化塗料組合物在至少20℃下固化不到4小時以在該基材上形成塗層。 條款14:如條款13之方法,其中該基材係金屬。 條款15:如條款14之方法,其中該金屬係經預處理之金屬。 雖然上文已出於說明之目的闡述本發明之具體實施例,但對於熟習此項技術者顯然,可在不背離如隨附申請專利範圍中所界定之本發明之情況下對本發明之細節作出多種改變。
Claims (15)
- 一種可固化塗料組合物,其包含:(a)聚合物,其包含至少兩個活性亞甲基官能基;(b)聚異氰酸酯交聯劑;及(c)過渡金屬觸媒。
- 如請求項1之可固化塗料組合物,其中該等活性亞甲基官能基包含至少一個乙醯乙酸酯官能基。
- 如請求項1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚合物(a)進一步包含至少一個羥基、羧基、環氧基、烷氧基矽烷及/或酸酐官能基。
- 如請求項1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其中該過渡金屬觸媒包含鋅錯合物、鎳錯合物及鈷錯合物之至少一者。
- 如請求項1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其進一步包含不同於聚合物(a)之包含至少一個活性亞甲基官能基之化合物(d)。
- 如請求項1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其中聚合物(a)包含至少一個含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚丙烯酸酯或含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚酯或二者。
- 如請求項6之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚合物(a)包含含有聚乙醯乙酸酯之聚丙烯酸酯,其中該聚丙烯酸酯包含小於85重量%之單體,其均聚物具有低於-40℃之玻璃轉換溫度(Tg)。
- 如請求項1或2之可固化塗料組合物,其中該聚異氰酸酯交聯劑包含異佛爾酮二異氰酸酯、1,6-六亞甲基二異氰酸酯、異氰尿酸酯、亞胺基氧雜二嗪二酮、縮二脲、脲基甲酸酯、脲二酮、二聚物、三聚物及/或其混合物。

- 一種多層塗層,其包含:(a)第一塗層,其係自如請求項1至10中任一項之可固化塗料組合物製備;及(b)第二塗層,該第二塗層係自不同於(a)且包含第二種成膜樹脂之塗料組合物製備。
- 一種製備塗層之方法,其包含:(i)將如請求項1至10中任一項之可固化塗料組合物施加至基材之至少一部分上;及(ii)將該可固化塗料組合物在至少20℃下固化不到4小時以在該基材上形成塗層。
- 如請求項13之方法,其中該基材係金屬。
- 如請求項14之方法,其中該金屬係經預處理之金屬。
