Description

製造撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法
本發明關於一種製造撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法。更明確地,本發明關於一種製造這種類型的條狀撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法。
本發明的目的在於製造撓性可攜式電子裝置,其至少能夠制定或處理信息,可攜式電子裝置包括佈置成能被固定到使用者身體的部份之撓性本體,以及用於處理信息的電子組件。可攜式電子裝置的本體係由像是彈性體之給予可攜式電子裝置厚度及機械阻力的塑膠材料層所形成。此塑膠材料層係被塗覆有第一防滲塑膠膜、被固定到第一防滲塑膠膜的外周緣的第二防滲塑膠膜。用於制定信息的電子組件係被佈置在第一及第二防滲塑膠膜之間。

必要時,該方法可能包括額外的步驟,其包括,在包覆模制第一防滲塑膠膜之前,熱成形第一防滲塑膠膜,以給予第一防滲塑膠膜所欲的輪廓。

最後,該方法所包含的步驟包括,使已被包覆模制的第一防滲塑膠條與已被裝飾的第二防滲塑膠條結合及焊接,並接著切割出和釋放撓性可攜式電子裝置。

根據本發明另外的特徵,製造方法所包含的步驟包括,在包覆模制第一防滲塑膠條的初始步驟之前,將第一防滲塑膠條移動通過熱成形站,以在第一防滲塑膠條中的各處去佈置複數個殼體,每一殼體係為了隨後接收撓性可攜式電子裝置的至少一內部元件。

本發明從包括提供一種製造撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法之總的發明構思繼續進行,其中,組裝操作的第一部分在第一撓性防滲條上被執行,而組裝操作的第二部分在第二撓性防滲條上被執行,第一及第二防滲條在最後的製造步驟中被組裝,且接著切割以釋放個別的可攜式電子裝置。
圖1A為用於實施本發明的方法之製造設備的左側部分之示意圖,而圖1B為用於實施本發明的方法之製造設備的右側部分之示意圖,圖1A及1B的結合表示了整個製造設備。應注意的是,表示於圖1A中的製造設備的左側部分係於被在圖1B中的箭號A標記的區域被連接到表示於圖1B中的製造設備的右側部分。
由總標號1指定為一個整體之用於實施本發明的製造方法的製造設備之左側部分包括熱成形站2,其從圖中的左側到右側被製成來讓第一防滲塑膠條4通過,以在第一防滲塑膠條4中的多處佈置複數個殼體6,每一殼體6係為了隨後接收撓性可攜式電子裝置8的至少一內部元件, 像是用於制定或處理信息的電子組件9。此技術包括在第一模具10中熱壓第一防滲塑膠條4,第一模具10包括兩模型模穴12和14,其具有與所需被給予防滲塑膠條4的輪廓相匹配之互補的形狀。須注意的是,此操作為選擇性地,且僅取決於要複製的形狀的清晰度。必要時,此操作可在上述的模制操作的同時被執行。
熱成形之後馬上接著冷卻,第一防滲塑膠條4被以撓性塑膠材料,例如彈性體所包覆模制,撓性塑膠材料將給予所產生的可攜式電子裝置8厚度和使該電子裝置8為舒適佩戴的體積。此技術通常被稱為薄膜嵌入成型。為此,第一撓性塑膠條4被通過包覆模制站16。此包覆模制站16包括第二模具18,其具有相同於第一模具10的模型模穴12之頂部20,以及底部22。第一防滲塑膠條4被壓向的第二模具18之頂部20具有與第一防滲塑膠條4的輪廓相匹配的輪廓,且底部22在被使用來製成可攜式電子裝置14的本體26之塑膠材料將被注入之處係具有排除區24。
在上述的製造步驟的最後,在第一防滲塑膠條4中係形成複數個塑膠本體26,其仍然與防滲塑膠條4形成單一件,且其基本上具有帶或手鍊的形狀。製造方法可被輔以插入手鍊緊固元件28,例如磁鐵,之步驟。
由總標號30指定為一個整體之用於實施本發明的製造方法的設備之右側部分包括熱傳遞站32,其從圖中的右側到左側供第二防滲塑膠條34通過,第二防滲塑膠條 34於其底面36上的多處中接收能夠吸收雷射光照射之材料的層38。
第二防滲塑膠條34接著通過到列印站40中,其中,第二防滲塑膠條34於其底面36接收至少一裝飾性油墨。
第二防滲塑膠條34接著還通過貼合站42,其中,黏合膜44及像是液晶顯示單元之撓性顯示裝置46被相繼貼合於第二防滲塑膠條34的底面36。黏合膜44使撓性顯示裝置46可固定到第二防滲塑膠條34的底面36。
第二防滲塑膠條34接著最後通過到組裝站48中,其中,第二防滲塑膠條34於其底面36上的多處接收用於處理信息的電子組件9。在顯示於圖中的範例中,可攜式電子裝置14係被佈置來處理,特別是與時間相關的信息。為此目的,除了撓性顯示裝置46外,每一電子組件9還包括光導50,光導50被佈置在撓性顯示裝置46的下方且佈置來背光該裝置。藉由其上係安裝有可攜式電子裝置14的正常運作所需之各個積體和個別電子元件(未示於圖式中),特別像是時基之撓性印刷電路52,組裝係被完成。電子組件9係藉由撓性電池54的方式被供電。

當第二防滲塑膠條34被固定到第一防滲塑膠條4時,根據本發明之可攜式電子裝置14的製造係被完成。為此,第一及第二防滲塑膠條4和34匯合到雷射焊接站 56,其中,第二防滲塑膠條34被固定到第一防滲塑膠條4的周緣。因此被結合的兩防滲塑膠條4和34最後通過到雷射切割站58中,其中,個別的撓性可攜式電子裝置14被分開。
不言而喻地,此發明並不限制於恰已被描述的本發明之製造方法的實施,且在不偏離由所附的申請專利範圍所定義之本發明的範疇內,熟知本領域技術人士可預料到各種簡單的修改及變化。

Claims (2)

  1. 一種製造撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法,該撓性可攜式電子裝置至少能夠處理信息,該可攜式電子裝置包括用於處理信息的電子組件,該方法所包含的步驟包括,使第一防滲塑膠條通過包覆模制站,其中,該第一防滲塑膠條係使用撓性塑膠材料而被包覆模制,該撓性塑膠材料將給予所產生的該撓性可攜式電子裝置厚度及機械阻力,該方法所進一步包含的步驟包括,使具有朝向上方的底面之第二防滲塑膠條相繼通過:- 列印站,其中,該第二防滲塑膠條於其該底面上接收至少一裝飾性油墨;- 組裝站,其中,該第二防滲塑膠條於其該底面上的各處中接收用於處理信息的該電子組件,該方法所進一步包含的步驟包括,將已被包覆模制的該第一防滲塑膠條結合及焊接到已被裝飾的該第二防滲塑膠條,並接著切割出和釋放該可攜式電子裝置。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之製造撓性可攜式電子裝置的方法,其中,在包覆模制該第一防滲塑膠條的該初始步驟之前,該第一防滲塑膠條係被通過熱成形站,用於在該第一防滲塑膠條中的各處佈置複數個殼體,每一殼體係為了隨後接收該撓性可攜式電子裝置的至少一內部元件。
