Description
本發明涉及一種電連接器,尤其涉及一種可實現晶片模組與電路板間電性連接之電連接器。
中國大陸專利公告第1252882號揭露了一種連接晶片模組至電路板之電連接器,所述電連接器包括絕緣本體以及與絕緣本體安裝固定之下蓋。當將電連接器連接於電路板上時,先將絕緣本體焊接於電路板上,然後將下蓋從上往下安放於底座上並相互卡持固定,從而完成電連接器與電路板間之連接。
然而,隨著電連接器小型化之發展趨勢,絕緣本體之尺寸不斷減小,導電端子之排列密度不斷增加,如此使得當將絕緣本體焊接至電路板上時,導電端子與電路板上之金屬觸點之精準對位產生困難,而且由於絕緣本體之尺寸之減小,會使得絕緣本體之強度不足,不能滿足電性連接之需求。
鑒於此,確有必要提供一種改進之電連接器,以克服先前技術存在之缺陷。
本發明之目的係提供一種小型化之電連接器。
本發明之電連接器可藉以下技術方案實現:一種電連接器,用以
連接至設有對位結構之電路板,所述電連接器包括:絕緣本體;導電端子,設於所述絕緣本體中;及金屬框體,用以將絕緣本體固定於電路板,所述金屬框體具有側邊,所述側邊圍設成一收容空間;其中所述金屬框體與所述絕緣本體以嵌入成型(insert molding)方式相結合,所述絕緣本體延伸入所述收容空間,所述金屬框體與電路板上之對位結構相對準以安裝於電路板上。
本發明之電連接器組合可藉以下技術方案實現:一種電連接器組合,用以與晶片模組電性連接,所述電連接器組合包括:電路板,其上設有複數金屬觸點;絕緣本體,安裝於所述電路板上;導電端子,設於所述絕緣本體中並與電路板上之金屬觸點對應連接;及金屬框體,與所述絕緣本體以嵌入成型(insert molding)方式相結合,所述金屬框體具有側邊,所述側邊圍設成一收容空間;其中所述電路板上設有圍設於金屬觸點周圍之對位結構,所述金屬框體與電路板上之對位結構對應安裝。
相較於先前技術,本發明電連接器組合之金屬框體與絕緣本體嵌入成型,電路板上設有與金屬框體採用同一製造基準形成之對位結構,可保證電連接器與電路板間之準確對位並增強絕緣本體之強度,滿足小型化連接器之電性連接需求。

請參閱第一圖、第二圖所示,本發明之電連接器組合100包括電路板6以及安裝於電路板6上之電連接器。所述電連接器包括絕緣本體1、設於絕緣本體1中之導電端子2以及與絕緣本體1嵌入成型(insert molding)之金屬框體3。
請重點參閱第三圖所示,所述金屬框體3呈矩形結構,其包括首尾相連之側邊31,所述側邊31圍成一收容空間30。所述金屬框體3還可以包括自側邊31向遠離收容空間30之方向延伸設置之外凸部310以及自側邊31向收容空間30內凸伸設置之內凸部311。於本實施例中,所述外凸部310和所述內凸部311係自金屬框體3之角落延伸設置。在其他實施例中,所述外凸部310或所述內凸部311也可以自金屬框體3之其他部位延伸。所述外凸部310和所述內凸部311可於電連接器安裝於電路板6上時起防呆作用,防止錯誤安裝,亦可增大兩者安裝時之接觸面積,增強連接可靠性。
所述絕緣本體1與所述金屬框體3係為嵌入成型,所述絕緣本體1延伸入所述金屬框體3之收容空間30內。所述絕緣本體1所覆蓋之面積小於所述收容空間30之面積,即所述絕緣本體1僅佔據所述收容空間30之其中一部份空間。於本實施例中,所述絕緣本體1係位於所述金屬框體3之一角落處。
請參閱第四圖、第五圖所示,所述導電端子2包括焊接部21以及自焊接部21傾斜向上延伸設置之彈性臂22,所述彈性臂22上設有
接觸部221。所述焊接部21用以電性連接至電路板6,所述接觸部221用以電性連接晶片模組。所述導電端子2除所述焊接部21之下表面以及所述接觸部221之上表面以外,其餘部分均塗敷有絕緣層。所述絕緣層可防止相鄰導電端子2之短接,滿足導電端子2高密度排列需求。
請參閱第二圖、第三圖所示,所述電路板6上設有複數金屬觸點60,用以與導電端子2對應接觸。所述電路板6上還設有圍設於金屬觸點60周圍之對位結構61,於本實施例中,所述對位結構61與所述金屬框體3是以相同構形設置於電路板6上,即所述對位結構61包括一大框,所述大框與所述金屬框體3之結構相同。在將電連接器安裝到電路板6上時,只需對準金屬框體3與電路板上的對位結構61便可將導電端子2準確定位在對應金屬觸點60上,減小兩者對位公差。所述對位結構61還可以包括位於大框內之小框,所述小框與所述絕緣本體1之周緣對應相同,所述絕緣本體1覆蓋所述小框圍成之區域。
所述電連接器係藉由黏膠4而黏貼於所述電路板6上。所述黏膠4貼附於所述金屬框體3之下表面上以及所述絕緣本體1之下表面周緣,所述黏膠4所形成之形狀與所述電路板6上之對位結構61之形狀對應相同。所述絕緣本體1以及所述金屬框體3藉由黏膠4對應黏貼於電路板6之對位結構61上即實現電連接器與電路板6間之連接。所述導電端子2藉錫塊或導電膠與所述金屬觸點60相連接。
本發明電連接器之絕緣本體1與金屬框體3以嵌入成型方式相結合,電路板6上設有與絕緣本體1以及金屬框體3對應之對位結構61,所述絕緣本體1以及金屬框體3與電路板6上之對位結構61採用
同一製造基準製造,如此只需對準金屬框體3與電路板上的對位結構61便可將導電端子2準確定位在對應金屬觸點60上,可減少導電端子2與電路板6上之金屬觸點60間的對位公差。而且金屬框體3嵌入成型於絕緣本體1上,可增強絕緣本體1之強度。
綜上所述,本發明符合發明專利要件,爰依法提出專利申請。惟,以上所述者僅為本發明之較佳實施例,本發明之範圍並不以上述實施例為限,舉凡熟習本案技藝之人士援依本發明之精神所作之等效修飾或變化,皆應涵蓋於以下申請專利範圍內。

Claims (9)
- 一種電連接器,用以連接至設有對位結構之電路板上,所述電連接器包括:絕緣本體;導電端子,設於所述絕緣本體中;及金屬框體,與絕緣本體相固定,所述金屬框體具有側邊,所述側邊圍設成一收容空間;其中所述金屬框體與所述絕緣本體以嵌入成型方式相結合,所述絕緣本體延伸入所述收容空間,所述絕緣本體覆蓋之面積小於所述收容空間之面積,所述金屬框體與所述電路板上之對位結構對應安裝。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述對位結構係與金屬框體之構形對應相同之框形結構。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項所述之電連接器,其中所述金屬框體之一角向遠離收容空間之方向延伸設有外凸部,另一角向收容空間內凸伸設有內凸部。
- 如申請專利範圍第1項至第3項中任一項所述之電連接器,其中所述導電端子具有用以與電路板接觸之焊接部以及自焊接部向上傾斜延伸設置之彈性臂,所述彈性臂上設有用以與晶片模組接觸之接觸部,所述導電端子除所述焊接部和所述接觸部外,其餘部分包覆有絕緣層。
- 一種電連接器組合,用以與晶片模組電性連接,所述電連接器組合包括:電路板,其上設有複數金屬觸點;絕緣本體,安裝於所述電路板上; 導電端子,設於所述絕緣本體中並與電路板上之金屬觸點對應連接;及金屬框體,與所述絕緣本體以嵌入成型方式相結合,所述金屬框體具有側邊,所述側邊圍設成一收容空間;其中所述電路板上設有設於金屬觸點周圍之對位結構,所述金屬框體對應安裝於電路板上之對位結構處。
- 如申請專利範圍第5項所述之電連接器組合,其中所述絕緣本體位於所述金屬框體之一角落處,所述絕緣本體覆蓋之面積小於所述金屬框體之收容空間之面積。
- 如申請專利範圍第6項所述之電連接器組合,其中所述對位結構包括一大框和位於大框內之小框,所述金屬觸點設於所述小框內。
- 如申請專利範圍第7項所述之電連接器組合,其中所述金屬框體之下表面以及所述絕緣本體之下表面周緣設有黏膠,所述金屬框體對應黏貼於所述對位結構之大框處,所述絕緣本體對應黏貼於所述對位結構之小框處。
- 如申請專利範圍第5項所述之電連接器組合,其中所述導電端子藉由錫塊或導電膠連接於所述金屬觸點。
