Description

電容式觸控感測器的觸控電路及掃描方法
本發明係有關一種電容式觸控感測器,特別是關於一種電容式觸控感測器的觸控電路及掃描方法。
傳統的電容式觸控感測器之掃描方式大多為循序地從第一條感應線掃描至最後一條,並且每次都只掃描一條感應線。圖1顯示傳統電容式觸控感測器10的掃描方法。在圖1的左方顯示電容式觸控感測器10,其包括底板12以及印刷於底板12上的感應線X1至Xm以及Y1至Ym,其中底板12可以是玻璃、塑膠薄膜或印刷電路板等材質,感應線X1至Xm以及Y1至Ym可以是金屬、銦錫氧化物導電薄膜或其他材質圖案。在圖1的右方顯示電容式觸控感測器10的掃描方法,其為傳統的循序掃描法,其每次只掃描一條感應線,例如,在時間T0至T1期間只掃描感應線Y1,在時間T1至T2期間只掃描感應線Y2。
然而,對於大尺寸觸控面板來說,此循序式掃描的整體掃描時間過長,此外,來自外部或電流源的雜訊16將使得感應線X1至Xm以及Y1至Ym受到雜訊輻射的影響,由於雜訊是時變的,因此在循序式掃描下每條感應線掃描的時間不一致,故各感應線之類比數位轉換(ADC)值受到雜訊輻射的影響也不一致。
因此,一種減少雜訊干擾及縮短整體掃描時間的電路及掃描方法,乃為所冀。
本發明的目的,在於提出一種電容式觸控感測器的觸控電路及掃描方法。
根據本發明,一種電容式觸控感測器的觸控電路包括多個通道、一多工器及一前端電路。其掃描方法包括將該電容式觸控感測器的多條感應線分為多個群組,該多工器每次將一個群組的感應線連接至該多個通道,該前端電路同時偵測連接至該多個通道的感應線的類比數位轉換值,在所有群組的感應線都完成掃描後,找出物件觸碰的感應線,接著再找出該物件觸碰的感應線中類比數位轉換值最高的目標感應線,以該目標感應線為中心,再次掃描其附近的感應線以更精確定位該物件位置。
圖2顯示電容式觸控感測器20,其包括底板22、印刷在底板上的感應線X1至Xm及Y1至Ym以及觸控電路24,其中底板22可以是玻璃、塑膠薄膜或印刷電路板等材質,感應線X1至Xm以及Y1至Ym可以是金屬、銦錫氧化物導電薄膜或其他材質圖案。在觸控電路24中,類比多工器26從感應線X1至Xm及Y1至Ym中選取一部分連接至n個通道28,前端電路30同時偵測連接至n個通道28的感應線之類比數位轉換(ADC)值,雜訊等化器(noise equlizer)對前端電路30所送出的ADC值進行雜訊等化處理。
圖3顯示圖2中電容式觸控感測器20的掃描方法。圖4顯示平行多工處理及群組式掃描。在電容式觸控感測器20中,感應線X1至Xm及Y1至Ym分為多個預設群組,每個預設群組包含n條感應線,如圖4所示,感應線X1至Xn為群組Gx1,感應線Xn+1至Xn+n為群組Gx2,感應線Y1至Yn為群組Gy1,感應線Yn+1至Yn+n為群組Gy2。本發明的掃描方法首先進行預設群組掃描,如圖3的步驟S40所示,類比多工器26每次將一個預設群組的n條感應線連接至n個通道28,前端電路30同時掃描這n條感應線,參照圖4,由於本發明的掃描方法同時掃描二條以上的感應線,故可以縮短整體掃描時間,而且同一群組的感應線是同時掃描,因此受到雜訊輻射的影響的程度也較為接近,如圖4的右方所示。
圖5顯示針對手指觸碰位置的二次群組掃描。當所有預設群組都完成掃描後,進行步驟S42找出手指觸碰的感應線,由於手指可能落在一個群組內,如圖5波形50所示手指落在群組Gyn中,但手指也可能觸碰在群組邊緣,如圖5的波形54及56所示手指在群組Gx1及Gx2之間,由於群組Gx1及Gx2受到雜訊的干擾程度不同,因此在定位手指座標時可能有誤差,故在找出手指觸碰的感應線後,前端電路30再找出其中ADC值最大的目標感應線52及58,接著進行步驟S44再次群組掃描,在此步驟中,以目標感應線52為中心,類比多工器26將目標感應線52與其附近的感應線連接至n個通道28以供前端電路30進行掃描,如圖5中的再次掃描窗60所示,跟著再以目標感應線58為中心,將其與其附近的感應線連接至n個通道28以供前端電路30進行掃描,如圖5中的再次掃描窗62所示。
上述找出ADC值最高的目標感應線的步驟,其目的是要找出感應量變化最明顯的目標感應線。換言之,本發明在掃描完所有感應線之後,根據掃描的結果選定一目標感應線,該目標感應線可以是感應量變化最明顯的感應線,而在某些觸控感測架構中,例如美國專利第5,920,309號所提出的觸控感測方法及裝置,其感應量的變化最明顯時,其ADC值最高。在該種架構下,便可以選定ADC值最高的感應線作為目標感應線。
在不同的實施例中,亦可以是根據掃描的結果選擇複數條感應線作為目標感應線,進行第二次的掃描。
圖6顯示群組掃描下雜訊的影響。在完成第二次群組掃描後,由於手指觸碰的感應線的ADC值是在同一時間受雜訊輻射影響,故將向上或向下偏移,如圖6所示,接著步驟S46將所有感應線的ADC值送入雜訊等化器32中進行雜訊等化處理以改善雜訊所產生的偏移,進而降低雜訊的影響。最後再進行後續程序,如步驟S48所示,該後續程序包括運算速度及加速度等行為。

Claims (11)

  1. 一種電容式觸控感測器的觸控電路,該電容式觸控感測器包含多條感應線,該觸控電路包括:多個通道;一多工器,具有多個輸入端連接該多條感應線以及多個輸出端連接該多個通道,從該多條感應線選取一部分連接至該多個通道;以及一前端電路,連接該多個通道,同時偵測連接至該多個通道的感應線的類比數位轉換值。
  2. 如請求項1之觸控電路,其中該前端電路在所有感應線都完成掃描後找出物件觸碰的感應線中類比數位轉換值最大的目標感應線。
  3. 如請求項2之觸控電路,其中該多工器在所有感應線都完成掃描後以該目標感應線為中心將其及其附近的感應線再連接至該多個通道以進行第二次掃描。
  4. 如請求項3之觸控電路,更包括一雜訊等化器連接該前端電路,在完成第二次掃描後將該多條感應線的類比數位轉換值進行雜訊等化處理。
  5. 一種電容式觸控感測器的掃描方法,包括下列步驟:同時掃描多條感應線;在所有感應線都完成掃描後,根據掃描結果選定一目標感應線;以及再次掃描該目標感應線附近的感應線以更精確定位物件位置。
  6. 如請求項5之掃描方法,更包括在完成二次掃描後將所有感應線的類比數位轉換值送入雜訊等化器中進行雜訊等化處理。
  7. 如請求項5之掃描方法,其中該根據掃描結果選定一目標感應線的步驟包括以該物件觸碰的感應線中感應量變化最明顯的感應線作為該目標感應線。
  8. 如請求項5之掃描方法,其中該根據掃描結果選定一目標感應線的步驟包括以該物件觸碰的感應線中類比數位轉換值最高的感應線作為該目標感應線。
  9. 如請求項5之掃描方法,其中該再次掃描該目標感應線附近的感應線的步驟包括以該目標感應線為中心,進行再次掃描。
  10. 一種電容式觸控感測器的掃描方法,包括下列步驟:進行第一次掃描,每次同時掃描多條感應線;根據第一次掃描的結果,選擇至少一感應線與手指接觸相關;以及進行第二次掃描,使該至少一感應線被再一次的掃描。
  11. 如請求項10之掃描方法,更包括在完成二次掃描後將所有感應線的類比數位轉換值送入雜訊等化器中進行雜訊等化處理。
