1290701 玖、發明說明: 【發明所屬之技術領域】 · 本發明涉及一種產生束狀光電流所用之裝置。 【先前技術】 爲了傳送資訊給交通工具之駕駿員而不必使駕駿員之目 光由運行之路徑或由飛行之大氣層中移開,所謂抬頭式 (Head-up)顯示器已爲人所知,藉此可使一種資訊顯示用之 影像插入至該交通工具之前板中。其在明亮之環境光線中 仍可看見,因此該影像之亮度需較高。束狀之光電流對其 · 它照明目的而言亦是需要的,例如,其可作爲櫥窗及展示 櫃用之閱讀燈或輻射器。 【發明內容】 本發明之目的是以多種裝置來產生一種光電流,這些裝 置特別是具有較小之構造高度和較小之重量,消耗儘可能 少之損耗功率或發出儘可能少之熱量且因此亦可用在交通 工具之操作中。 本發明中該目的以下述方式達成:設有一種由發光二極 © 體-矩陣所構成之光源;在光源和光射出口之間配置一種光 學裝置使由發光二極體所產生之光被集成束狀或發散;該 集束或發散用之裝置具有一種柵格形式之反射器,其對每 一矩陣點分別形成一種光通道,該光通道之壁具有反射 性;每一光通道之面向該光源之末端包含一種聚光透鏡。 若各矩陣點分別由多個發光二極體所形成,則本發明之 裝置已證明是有利的,各發光二極體可發出不同顏色之 1290701 光。此外,本發明不限於用在各別之光通道之各別之透鏡 中〇 本發明之裝置之成本有利之製造方法能以下述方式來達 成:全部之光通道之聚光透鏡以單件方式來與一配置在光 源和柵格形式之反射器之間之板相連接。該板當然會在橫 向中造成一種不期望之光導引作用,這可藉由下述情況來 防止:各聚光透鏡成組地以單件方式來與各配置於光源和 該柵格形式之反射器之間之條片相連。 本發明一種有利之形式是:透鏡之彎曲半徑在不同之方 向中並不相同(這稱爲散光(astigmatic)透鏡)。這樣特別可 在長形之光射出口中使光之分佈獲得改良。 本發明另一種有利之形式是:在光射出口上配置一種具 有光閥之影像再現裝置。此種形式可達成一種緊密之裝置 以便在整個影像面上產生高解析度之影像,其具有高的亮 度和均勻之亮度分佈。因此,該集束或發散用之裝置可使 該發光二極體所產生之光集中至該影像再現裝置之面上而 不會對各別之發光二極體造成干擾性之映像。本發明之裝 置之較佳之應用領域是交通工具用之抬頭式圖像顯示器。 藉由該影像再現裝置,則本發明之裝置另可具備一些優 點。因此,藉由RGB-光源和彩色顯示器之間所進行之調整, 則可使彩色圖像以足夠之亮度顯示在抬頭式圖像顯示器 中。在與反射器和透鏡一起使用時,則可使液晶顯示器之 面上之背景照明達成一種均勻之彩色分佈和亮度分佈。 在液晶彩色顯示器中,能以彩色方式顯示各種可組構之 1290701 圖像內容。該圖像內容因此可依據運行情況來調整。整個 圖像產生裝置之構造空間在實際應用之例子中只佔有數個 立方公分。藉由選取各發光二極體和所屬之顯示器之彩 色,則可使各別即將顯示之彩色區受到影響。例如,可選 取一種紅-綠-發光二極體光柵以取代RGB-發光二極體光柵 且在液晶顯示器中以適當之方式使藍色濾色器元件由綠色 者所取代。於是可形成一種有限之彩色區,其具有亮很多 之亮度。 【實施方式】 本發明允許很多種實施形式,其中一些顯示在各圖式中 且將描述於下。 在第1,2圖之實施例中,設有4 X 8組(每組各別有4個 發光二極體1)所形成之光柵以作爲光源,其安裝在一種載 體2上。各組之間存在一種條片3,其傾斜之表面用作反 射器。 透鏡光柵4位於光源1,2,3上方,透鏡光柵4上連接 著一種柵格形式之反射器5。 各條片3,透鏡光柵4和該柵格形式之反射器5之傾斜 延伸之表面6可造成一種相同形式之光分佈。爲了防止該 反射器5之條片7所造成之遮住現象,須設有一種框架, 其使反射器5和液晶顯示器9之間相隔一段距離。液晶顯 示器9下方存在一種散射板1 0,以便使該液晶顯示器9之 背景照明之相同性可進一步改良。 框架8可使該液晶顯示器傾斜,使由上方所入射之光不 1290701 會反射在相同之方向中以便可到達各觀察者,否則光會在 該相同方向中離開該液晶顯示器。 第2圖係第1圖中該液晶顯示器9和該散射板10已取下 之後之裝置。第2圖中可經由透鏡光柵4而看到各發光二 極體1。但爲了簡單之故,各發光二極體1之一種相對應 之變形未顯示出來。 第3圖之實施例是一種照明裝置,其中該光射出口由玻 璃板1 8所構成,該玻璃板1 8支撐在框架1 7上。本實施例 之其它部份就像第1圖一樣來構成。 第4圖是第1圖之一部份之放大圖且用來說明液晶顯示 器和光源之細節。該液晶顯示器9在二個玻璃板1 1,1 2之 間具有一個液晶1 3和一個濾色器1 4。該濾色器1 4由一種 具備三種不同彩色之彩色點之光柵所構成,其特徵在第4 圖中是以不同之陰影線來表示。與該濾色器之光栅相關的 是未顯示之控制電極,其分別與液晶形成一種光閥。在各 玻璃板11,12外部存在著極化器15,16,其具有互相垂 直之極化面。 第1圖中簡單描述之光源同樣詳細顯示在第4圖中。 四個發光二極體1在一由條片3所形成之孔之中央中凸 出地配置在一基片2 0上。各發光二極體經由連結線2 1而 與導線25相連,各導線25在圖中只由其所佔有之面之陰 影來表示。在較佳之實施形式中,發光二極體之一發出紅 光,二個發光綠光,第4個則發出藍光。在上述之配置中, 該光線混合成白色。基片2 0和條片3之間之空間中以白 1290701 色之澆注物質22塡入,其表面24作爲由各發光二極體1 之側面所發出之光所用之反射器。一種透明之澆注物質23 可防止中空區之形成。 在第4圖所示之實施例中,各光源1,2,3和透鏡光柵 4之間之連接係經由矽溶膠所構成之層26,PCF-層27和適 當之黏合劑28來達成。 PCF-層27之作用是使發光二極體所產生之光中只有在下 方極化器15之方向中已極化之光才可通過,因此經由PC F-層27中之極化作用後該光不會消失。其它已極化之光由 ® PCF-層27所反射且隨後由該表面24又射回,另有已適當 地極化之成份又經由PCF-層27而到達該表面24,使該PCF-層整體上可使亮度提高。 第5圖顯示一種不具備PCF-層之實施例。第5圖中所示 之部份係位於該裝置之邊緣。 第6圖顯示一種具有8個透鏡之透鏡光柵31,其由條片 32所共同支撐。第6圖中所示之透鏡光柵中之4個透鏡在 本實施例中係依據第4,5圖而相鄰地配置著。 【圖式簡單說明】 第1圖一種實施例之切面圖。 第2圖 在第1圖之實施例中該柵格形式之反射器之俯視 圖。 第3圖 另一實施例之切面圖。 第4圖 係第1圖之一部份之放大圖,其用來說明不同之 細節。 -10- 1290701 第5圖 另一實施例之一部份之放大圖。 第6圖 透鏡光柵之一部份。 【元件符號說明】 1 發光二極體 2 載體2 3 條片 4 透鏡光柵 5 反射器 6 表面 7 條片 8 框架 9 液晶顯示器 10 散射板 11 ' 12 玻璃板 13 液晶 14 濾色器 15、 16 極化器 17 框架 18 玻璃板 20 基片 21 連結線 11、 23 澆注物質 24 表面 25 導線 26 層 27 PCF層 28 黏合劑 31 透鏡光柵 32 條片32
