1250870 玖、發明說明: 【明所雇領3 交互參考之相關申請案 這是先前在2001年10月23日提申之美國專利申請案第 5 10/004,469號之部份連續申請案,且該先前申請案本身是在 2001年5月2日提申之美國專利申請案第〇9/846,332號之部 份連續申請案,在此依35 U.S.C· §120主張其申請日之優先 權。 發明領域 10 本發明係大致有關於一種整形支持物並且,特別是有 關於一種用於製造在使用時具有較佳壓縮支持力,體熱保 持力,及可透氣性之彈性壓縮鬆緊帶之複合材料。 L先前技術3 發明背景 15 彈性壓縮鬆緊帶係可以許多種形式來使用,通常這些 鬆緊帶係由柔軟、彈性材料構成,因此當被穿戴時,它們 為一受傷之關節提供某種程度之支持。這些鬆緊帶,經常 是在沒有一處方箋或不需要熟練之專業裝配技術之情形下 購買,且已被使用多年並且已通常被用來作為膝部、踝部、 20大腿、手腕、手肘、胸部、或下背部用之鬆緊帶。這些有 彈性、可撓曲之壓縮鬆緊帶可以在扭傷、關節炎、肌鍵炎、 黏液囊炎、發炎時,或在手術後使用時減少不舒適感或治 療外傷後之不舒適感時穿戴。 該彈性壓縮鬆緊帶經f是由合成橡膠(如聚氯丁稀)所 1250870 製成,這種特殊之材料是必要的,因為其有利性質之組合 對於彈性壓縮鬆緊帶是有用的。聚氯丁烯橡膠具有良好之 會散熱以減少或避免不當之流汗與熱不舒適感之彈性壓縮 鬆緊帶是有必要的。 5 【發明内容I 發明概要 本發明提供一用於壓縮鬆緊帶等之複合材料,其中該 複合材料包含一可彈性拉伸之第一層;一可撓第二層,係 固定於該第一層;一第三層,包括一固定於該第二層之分 10 隔織物;及一可撓第四層,係固定於該第三層。該第一層 不會是最外層,因為一外層會覆蓋該第一層。 在本發明之一實施例中,該彈性外層包括多數通過其 中之裂口,以允許且促使空氣橫向流動通過該複合材料。 本發明之一實施例提供一用於形成彈性壓縮鬆緊帶之 15 可撓、彈性複合材料,以藉由壓縮包圍且支持一身體部份。 該複合材料包括一中央彈性層,一内織物層與一外織物 層。較佳地,該彈性中央層包含片狀之封閉室材料,該封 閉室材料在其一側上具有多數形成於其中之互相交叉之溝 槽或管道,以形成一柵型態。該等管道之圖案可沿著該中 20 央層之寬向與長向產生多數通道,使受到支持之身體部份 可散熱與排汗。 該中央層亦可具有多數延伸通過該層之全深度且分配 在該層之表面區域上的切口,且該中央層更具有足夠之結 構強度與完整性以提供整型壓縮支持。 1250870 該複合材料亦可包括一内層,該内層係由與該中央層 之具有溝槽側結合之可撓、彈性、多孔性織物材料製成。 該外層亦可由一與該中央層之不具有溝槽側結合之可撓、 彈性、多孔性材料構成。 5 在本發明之一實施例中,該等延伸通過該中央層之多 數切口係弧形裂口一例如,在大約180°與270°之間延伸 之圓形裂口一該等弧形裂口界定出一與該中央層樞接之凸 片陣列,使得拉伸該複合材料會在該中央層中產生多數間 隙,藉此在該等内與外層之間產生空氣流動通道。 10 在本發明之另一實施例中,該複合材料包括一彈性外 層,一第一織物層,一分隔織物層,及一第二織物層。該 汗與過熱所產生之不舒適感,因此,因為使用者可穿戴較 長之時間而不是由於熱不舒適感而永久地取下該鬆緊帶, 本發明之改良複合材料改善了由在壓縮鬆緊帶所提供且這 5 種材料構成時所形成之解剖學上之支持。 第9圖顯示本發明之另一實施例,其中該複合材料100’ 係具有一具有以一鑽石型態形成於其中之多數交叉管道之 彈性中央層110’,同時,該等切口 150’係位在該等管道140’ 之交叉點處,該等管道140’與切口 150’可如上述般以一相對 10 於中央層110相同或相似方式形成。此外,在其他方面,該 複合材料100’可以相同於或相似於上述材料100。 第10圖顯示本發明之一複合材料之第三實施例之一中 央層210,在這實施例中,該中央層210具有多數延伸通過 該中央層210之整個厚度的弧形裂口 250,該等弧形裂口 250 15 係以大致界定出一全圓之180度至270度之半圓形或部份圓 形裂口者較佳。該等弧形裂口 250界定出多數仍與該中央層 210樞接之凸片部份255,但該等凸片部份255可開啟以便讓 空氣流過該中央層210。該等裂口 250之彎曲幾何形狀在該 中央層210上之一相當短之橫向距離中提供一相當長之裂 20 口。 該等多數弧形裂口 250係排列成矩形、偏離之陣列,如 第10圖所示。該中央層210係以厚度在大約1.5與大約8mm 之間者為佳,且以大約3mm厚為最佳。該等弧形裂口 250具 有在大約3mm與大約10mm之間之直徑D為佳,且以大約 16 1250870 4mm為最佳。裂口之相鄰偏離線係分開(在垂直與水平兩方 向上,如第10圖所示)一以OS表示之偏離量,該偏離量係以 在大約3mm與大約10mm之間為佳,且以大約6mm為最佳。 一使用與上述内與外層120、130(未顯示在第10圖中)結合之 5 該中央層210之複合材料可產生供使用於整型應用,如壓縮 鬆緊帶中之適當壓力強度。 該等裂口 250係在未由該中央層210上移除大量材料之 情形下產生在該中央層210中,因此當該中央層210被放 鬆,或未拉伸時,該等裂口250大致是關閉的。 10 第11圖顯示第10圖之中央層210,且該複合材料沿著縱 向(即第11圖中之左與右)彈性地被拉伸,新月形空氣流動管 道250’在該被拉伸片210中是開啟的。在此可了解的是該等 弧形裂口 250之曲度產生供空氣與濕氣通過該中央層210之 相當大之流動面積,這是部份地由於沿著一隔離該等凸片 15 部份255與在該中央層210中之拉伸應力之邊緣與該中央層 210樞接之該等凸片部份255之幾何形狀所致。因此該等凸 片部份255不會與相對該等凸片部份255之該材料之四週部 份拉伸得一樣多,產生一較大之空氣流動管道250’。 當該中央層210被放鬆時,即,當該等拉伸力量消失 20 時,該新月形空氣流動管道250’關閉,大致回到第10圖所 示之裂口 250。特別地,該等凸片部份255相對與該等凸片 部份255相對之四週材料橫向移動。該等凸片部份255之開 啟與關閉動作在該空氣流動管道250’内產生一泵送作用, 因而增強通過該中央層210之空氣流動。在此可了解的是當 17 1250870 穿戴起一柔軟之壓縮鬆緊帶,如第1與2圖所示之膝鬆緊帶 時,該穿戴者之移動將會使該鬆緊帶彈性彎曲,這種由上 述枚口材料J成之鬆緊帶之彎曲將因此產生一改善通過該 鬆緊帶之空氣流動之空氣泵送作用。此外,當該穿戴者相 )對不動4,穿戴者所產生之熱愈少,由該果送作用所產生 而通過該等空氣管道25〇,之空氣流動愈少。 本發明之一第四實施例之一中央層31〇係顯示在第12 圖中,其中一與第1丨圖所示之中央層21〇大致相同之中央層 310具有多數橫向延伸通過該中央層31〇之内面之長形、淺 10溝槽或官迢340。如以上所詳述者,交叉溝槽34〇之網路提 供多數提昇靠近穿戴者皮膚之空氣流動,沿著該複合材料 之内面之管道。如顯示該中央層之一橫截面圖之第13圖所 示’該等裂口 350係以直接定位於靠近或使該等溝槽34〇交 叉者為佳,因此空氣與蒸氣係被導向該等裂口 350,或者相 15 反地,由該等裂口進入之空氣被導向而進入該等溝槽340。 第14與15圖顯示一使用該中央層310之複合材料300, 該複合材料300包括一以一編織合成纖維層為佳且係黏著 於該中央層310之内表面之彈性内織物層330,一彈性外織 物層320係黏著於該中央層310之外表面。該内與外層320、 20 330係以可讓至少某些弧形裂口 350在該複合材料被拉伸時 得以開啟之方式黏著於該中央層。 該内與外層320、330係多孔的,因此空氣與蒸氣可以 通過該内層330、通過該等弧形裂口 350(當該等裂口係開啟 時)且通過該外層以使氣體排離穿戴者,旅且在相反之方向 18 1250870 通過以在該複合材料下方提供清涼之空氣。第15圖顯示該 複合材料3 00被橫向地拉伸,即在第I5圖中由左至右,由於 該纖維之拉伸,該等裂口 350係在一開啟位置。第14圖顯示 該複合材料300呈一其中該裂口350大致是關閉的未拉伸構 5 形,藉由比較第15圖與第14圖可知依據彎曲與伸展(拉伸與 未拉伸)該複合材料將產生上述之泵送作用,以便於空氣通 過該複合材料。 雖然該較佳實施例之裂口是半圓形的(即,一圓孤之 180-270度),但是也可能是任何多數之其他形狀。例如,可 10 使用產生具有彎曲自由端及樞接後端之長形凸片部份之裂 π 〇 連接。在一實施例中,該等層係以黏著劑互相連接,但亦 可使用包括縫合等在先前技術中眾所週知之其他連接機 20 構。 在此所使用之分隔織物,係指通常在如羅紋針織拉舍 爾(Raschei)經編機之經編機上製成之3D編織物。第17_ 立地顯示該分隔織物層425之稍特殊化之橫截面圖,該分隔 織物層425之特徵在於有時被稱為基礎織物之-對分開面 19 1250870 427、429,而該等面427、429係由多數橫向股線或分隔線 428互相連接,以產生一多孔性輕質織物。該等分隔線428 係相對於股線厚度分開地相當遠,以產生一立體多孔網 目,該立體多孔網目在本發明中具有使空氣可在該等面 5 427、429之間且至少部份與該等面427、429平行地流動的 優點。一適當之分隔線428通常是一聚醯胺或聚酯單長紗, 適當之分隔織物之厚度範圍可由小於lmm至1〇mm41〇mm 以上。 請再參閱第16圖,且如其中之箭號所示,本發明之鬆 1〇緊帶材料400使空氣、熱、與蒸發之汗可橫向通過該第二織 物層430 ’且接著沿著分隔織物層425大致橫向地朝該鬆緊 帶材料400之邊緣移動。在此可發現這複合結構提供一特別 舒適之壓縮包晨,吾人相信這較佳之特性應是與在使用 時,該鬆緊帶材料400可彈性地地包裹在使用者之一部份上 Μ的事實有關。當穿戴該材料時,使用者之動作會在該鬆緊 帶材料400中’且特別是在該分隔織物層425中造成彈性變 形。該分隔織物層425在使用時交替地壓縮與稍微放鬆’= 此產生-泵送作而有助於使空氣沿該分隔織物層仍流^ 通過其中。因此,該材料允許且促進某些空氣在使用者之 附近流動’而該彈性外層410則有助將熱整體地保持在靠近 使用者處,並且有助於提高在被包裹之身體部份處的熱治
