477693 經濟部中央標準局員工消費合作社印製 A7 B7 五、發明説明(1 ) I明範圍 本發明關於醫療用義肢之範圍,尤其是關於用做病害或 損壞關節替代品之義肢。 憂明背景 取代關節用之義肢,一般涉及兩個具有相互關連表面之 零件,以及將零件裝於骨骼内之結構。為了更接近地複製 自然關節之結構及功能’義肢零件必須仔細地加以成形及 定尺寸,同時必須由外科醫生適當地相互搭配,且相對於 病患之骨路構造搭配。 為獲得良好之手術結果,外科醫生應在手術過程中儘可 说地调整義肢零件之形狀、大小及方向。基於此原因,已 有多方之努力以提供組裝式之義肢,使其各個元件可被單 獨地述擇’且我肢也依病患之解剖上需要而加以組裝及調 整。 用於人工f寬關節,已見知於B〇leski等人之美國第 5,080,685號專利,Gianezio等人之美國第4 52〇 511號專 利,Demane等人之美國第4,"5 μ3號專利,Luman的美國 第5,002,578號專利,以及Rhenter等人的美國第4,693,724號 專利。此種義肢多涉及相當數量的零件,他們固合在一起 而成為形目豆,或疋藉由加裝螺絲來拉合零件的推拔式連 接而成為另一形體。雖然藉由過去之組裝式義肢而可提供 某些選擇(自由’但是加裝螺牙之螺絲及推拔式連接,可 導致零件的鬆脫及其他的問題。物理及化學的腐蝕,會由 於義肢4脆弱及對於腐蝕廢屑及副產品之生物反應而變為 -4 - 本紙張尺度適用宁國國豕標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公慶) -- (請先閲讀背面之注意事項再填寫本頁) — —-m -I I 11—i — _= -ll'—i - _ 477693 A7 五、發明説明(2

477693 A 7 B7 五、發明説明(9 ) 不變。可是一旦消除應力,夾件3 〇將回復至沃斯田相位, 同時回復其最初之形狀及尺寸。可是由於夾件在桿件心孔 14的空間内受到抑制,它將無法完全回復其最初之形狀及 尺寸。結果,夾件30將對於捍件12的心孔丨4,產生連續的 力量。 變通地,夾件可由諸如鎳欽合金之形狀記憶合金製成, 其中材料可經歷溫度謗導式的相位改變。在此種實施例 中,形狀記憶合金經改變外形而當其在體溫下之穩定相位 時,其外徑略大於捍件心孔14的外徑。可是在較低之溫度 時,夾件可能變形為不同之物理形狀,而其較體溫下穩定 型怨時之外徑略長及更為細長。此一外形容許夾件滑入桿 件的心孔14。在此一實施例中,一旦形狀記憶合金經加溫 且超過其相位轉移溫度範圍時,其膨脹至其體溫下之穩定 外形,因而以連續力量向外壓縮至桿件的心孔上。 因此,當同時使用溫度謗導式相位改變於形狀記憶合 金,以及當使用施力加長夾件時,夹件傾向於回復至體溫 下 < 論及為’’停置’’的形態。可是此一停置形態具有侧向尺 寸(以桿件為例之外徑具有圓形剖面),其略大於桿件心孔 的側向尺寸,其結果為夾件強力地向外推向桿件心孔,同 時緊固地夾持在桿件心孔上。 如圖i所示,夾件壁面42具有外表面44,其接觸且向外推 壓心孔U。當適當地置於定位時,夹件的外壁44向外推壓 桿件心體14的表面,而桿件的壁面則因受力向外而與本體 16的内表面26以及與頸件20的内表面28接觸。 -12- 本紙浪尺度適用中國國家標準(CNS ) A4規格(210X297公釐)
