Abstract

A method for aligning a crane, in which a connecting plate 2 or a similar plate is welded on the beam seat 1 of the crane, and the row of positioning holes on the connecting plate needs to be drilled after completion of the alignment, which comprises the following steps: (1) after welding the connecting plate, putting guide plates 5 on the connecting plate, one guide plate being placed on each side of each beam seat; (2) completing the alignment of the guide plates 5 at least by a directed binocular 6 on the guide plate and at least one target plate 7 corresponding to the corresponding point on another guide plate; (3) after completion of the alignment operation, fixing the guide plates 5 and drilling the positioning holes on the connecting plate; and (4) after completion of the drilling of the positioning holes, removing the guide plates installed on the connecting plate.
