Description
本發明涉及一種將以煙草植物或非煙草植物為材料的長條狀的香煙填充物聚合成束狀而得到的香煙填充物聚合體及具有該香煙填充物聚合體的電子煙盒。
近年來,為了配合香煙的禁煙趨勢,電子煙製品開始普及,其不使用火焰,而是通過加熱包含香煙成分的電子煙盒後抽吸已氣化的香煙成分來享用香煙。作為填充在這樣的電子煙盒中的香煙填充物的製造方法,存在下述方法:將煙葉粉末化並成為水漿體之後將其片材化,對片材添加油或甘油並使其乾燥(參照專利文獻1:日本特表2010-520764號公報)。
此外,公開了一種通過插入電子煙盒對其進行加熱來吸煙的物品,該電子煙盒在端部具有將香煙填充物聚合而得到的香煙填充物聚合體(參照專利文獻2:日本特表2015-519915號公報)。在電子煙中,將電子煙主體具有的加熱體插入到香煙填充物聚合體中,對香煙填充物進行加熱。
為了通過加熱來充分地產生包含氣霧劑的抽吸成分,香煙填充物以一定以上的填充率進行填充。另一方面,如果提高香煙填充物的填充率,則在將電子煙主體所具有的加熱體插入到香煙填充物聚合體中時,阻力會較大而難以插入。此外,如果香煙填充物的填充率過高,則香煙填充物聚合體內部的氣流流動性降低而使得使用者難以吸入,由於一次能吸入的氣流量減少,所以每一根的吸煙數量增加,存在超過適當的吸煙數量的可能性。因此,要求確保香煙填充物聚合體整體的填充率多於定值,並且使香煙填充物聚合體內部的氣流流動性良好。
此外,在香煙填充物聚合體中,當將電子煙盒插入到電子煙主體中時或者結束吸煙從電子煙主體中取出電子煙盒時等,存在著使用者進行操作時香煙填充物的一部分脫落的可能性。由此,存在使電子煙主體的內部發生污染進而使電子煙主體產生不良情況的可能性。因此,要求將香煙填充物以難以脫落的方式填充在香煙填充物聚合體中。
本發明是鑒於上述問題而完成的,其目的在於提供一種香煙填充物聚合體及電子煙盒,既確保香煙填充物聚合體整體的填充率多於預定值,又使香煙填充物聚合體內部的氣流流動性良好,並且容易插入到電子煙主體中且香煙填充物難以脫落。
為了解決所述問題,第一方面的發明涉及的香煙填充物聚合體,其是將長條狀的香煙填充物聚合成束狀並由片材狀的包裝體捲繞外周部而構成的,其特徵在於:所述香煙填充物形成為在與長度方向正交的截面中長邊方向的尺寸比短邊方向的尺寸長,與所述包裝體接觸的最外周部的所述香煙填充物朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向或者朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向以外的方向,朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向的所述香煙填充物的數量多於朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向以外的方向的所述香煙填充物的數量。
根據第一方面涉及的發明,由於能夠提高外周部的香煙填充物的填充率,相對降低中央部的香煙填充物的填充率,所以能夠確保香煙填充物的量,並且容易將電子煙主體的加熱部插入到香煙填充物聚合體中。此外,能夠使香煙填充物聚合體的氣流流動性良好。而且,由於在外周部香煙填充物形成牢固的構造,所以能夠使得在進行電子煙盒的操作時香煙填充物難以脫落。

參照附圖,對本發明的實施方式進行詳細說明。圖1示出了具有本實施方式的香煙填充物聚合體10的電子煙盒1的截面圖。如該圖所示,在電子煙盒1中,填充有大量香煙填充物20的大致圓筒狀的香煙填充物聚合體10、圓筒狀的支撐部件12和作為過濾嘴的煙嘴14沿著長度方向排列,通過由片材狀的包裝部件16捲繞而一體化形成。
香煙填充物聚合體10形成為,長條狀的香煙填充物20沿著長度方向形成為束狀,通過由片材狀的包裝體25捲繞而成為大致圓筒狀。香煙填充物20由非煙草植物形成。香煙填充物20的詳細情況將在後文詳述。
為了使包含由香煙填充物聚合體10產生的氣霧劑的氣流向煙嘴14一側流通,在支撐部件12的中央部具有流路部30。支撐部件12在流路部30的周圍具有周緣部31,能夠支撐包裝部件16的內周側。煙嘴14是海綿狀的多孔體,形成為圓筒狀。

根據需要,還優選使用追加香味的香味添加劑。作為香味添加劑,能夠列舉薄荷、可可、咖啡、紅茶的萃取物等。
此外,也可以根據需要添加食品防腐劑,例如也可以添加山梨酸、山梨酸鉀、苯甲酸、苯甲酸鈉等。
作為粘接劑或增粘劑等,也能夠使用瓜爾豆膠、黃原膠、阿拉伯樹膠及剌槐豆膠等膠、例如羥丙基纖維素、羧甲基纖維素、羥乙基纖維素、甲基纖維素及乙基纖維素等纖維素粘合劑、例如澱粉、海藻酸等有機酸、海藻酸鈉、羧甲基纖維素鈉、卡拉膠、瓊脂及果膠等有機酸的共軛堿鹽等多糖類、以及它們的組合。
微晶纖維素例如是作為例如用酸將從纖維性植物的鱗莖獲得的α-纖維素部分地解聚合所形成的物質而得到的,並且是從纖維素去除可溶性部分並適當使不溶性部分結晶化而得到的。
各種研究的結果是,關於含有非煙草植物、氣霧劑前體和微晶纖維素的香煙填充物20可知以下情況。如果將香煙填充物20置於乾燥條件下,則即使在包含非煙草植物和氣霧劑前體的填充物失水的情況下,纖維素的微晶也會維持填充物的構造,抑制體積收縮等構造變化。這樣的作用通過使用微晶纖維素來得到。
微晶纖維素既可以保持粉體的狀態,也可以使其分散在水等溶劑中作為懸濁液投入。在該情況下,向溶劑中的分散能夠使用高速攪拌機或高壓均質器等。
微晶纖維素的添加量的標準是香煙填充物20中的含有量為1%以上15%以下。優選為3%以上12%以下,進一步優選為5%以上10%以下。
通過添加微晶纖維素,對提高成形性、改善由輥式破碎機進行混練等時的作業性、特別是抑制香煙填充物20的收縮及體積變化而言是有效的,並且在電子煙盒1的品質管理及使用感的均質化方面是有效的。
本發明中所使用的微晶纖維素的平均粒徑優選為30μm~200μm,更優選為50μm~150μm,更優選為70μm~120μm。
微晶纖維素的平均粒徑為30μm以上時,抑制香煙填充物20收縮的效果優異,微晶纖維素的平均粒徑為150μm以下時,除了所述抑制收縮的效果以外,還能夠使成形性良好。
微晶纖維素的平均粒徑通過篩分法來求取。上述平均粒徑能夠通過JIS K 0069:1992中記載的方法來獲得。另外,平均粒徑是指關於由多個篩進行的試驗結果例如從篩孔較大的一方開始進行質量累積而相當於該質量的50%的直徑。進而,優選地,通過250μm篩孔後的殘留物質量占進行篩分的微晶纖維素的總質量的8%以下,並且通過75μm篩孔後的殘留物質量是占進行篩分的微晶纖維素的總質量的45%以上。
在通過250μm篩孔後的殘留物質量占進行篩分的微晶纖維素的總質量的8%以下的情況下,被篩分出的微晶纖維素具有抑制香煙填充物20收縮的效果。在通過75μm篩孔後的殘留物質量占進行篩分的微晶纖維素的總質量的45%以上的情況下,能夠使香煙填充物20的成形性良好。
微晶纖維素的質量平均分子量(Mw)優選為10,000以上200,000以下。更優選為10,000以上100,000以下。如果為10,000以上,則抑制香煙填充物20收縮的效果優異,如果為100,000以下,則除了所述抑制收縮的效果以外還能夠使成形性良好。特別優選為20,000以上60,000以下。纖維素的分子量能夠通過凝膠滲透色譜儀(GPC)來測量。例如能夠採用如日本特開平6-109715號公報中所述的那樣的測量方法,可適當使用聚乙二醇等作為標準資料。
對香煙填充物20的製造程序進行說明。香煙填充物20的製造程序包括:將作為主原料的非煙草植物乾燥、粉碎並進行稱量等的乾燥粉碎程序;進行作為其他原料的前處理的稱量等的準備程序;混合原料來形成組合物的混合程序;以及使組合物成形的填充物成形程序。
在乾燥粉碎程序中,為了使作為主原料的非煙草植物的使用部位(例如葉、種子、乾燥果實、莖、樹皮、根等)形成組合物,對規定的粉碎物進行加工。此時,優選為了吸收或承載之後添加的氣霧劑前體、水等其他成分而調整為適合的水含量。在乾燥程序中,溫度優選為60℃以上80℃以下。通過採用該範圍,能夠避免所需要的香味成分散逸,並且容易達到所期望的水含量。另外,在為65℃以上時,能夠進一步容易達到所期望的水含量,在為75℃以下時,能夠進一步防止所需要的香味成分散逸。
優選乾燥粉碎後的組合物的水含量是乾燥粉碎後組合物總質量的5%以下。通過這樣,在後續的程序中制漿會變得容易。更優選乾燥粉碎後的組合物的水含量是乾燥粉碎後組合物總質量的3%以下。此外,如果乾燥粉碎後的組合物的水含量是乾燥粉碎後組合物總質量的0.1%以上,則能夠保持與水等的親密性良好的狀態。而且,在乾燥粉碎程序中也能夠設置對粉碎物進行篩分的篩分程序,從而能夠調整為所期望的粒度來投入到混合程序中。
在準備程序中,能夠準備在製作香煙填充物20時所需要的原料。前述的微晶纖維素在準備程序中被稱量,投入到混合程序中。
在混合程序中,能夠使用通常的攪拌機。例如,優選採用用攪拌漿葉對混合槽中的原料施加剪切力並進行混合的形態。
在填充物成形程序中,使各種原料混合而成的組合物成形為較薄的片材狀之後,通過切斷來形成香煙填充物20。在本實施方式中,為了形成較薄的片材,準備3個輥式破碎機。優選為在使用3個輥式破碎機時通過因被壓入較窄的輥間而產生的壓縮和因輥速度差而產生的剪斷來進行混練、分散等,並且能夠通過刮刀來形成所期望厚度的片材。此外,也能夠使用壓輥或衝壓機進行製作。
在填充物成形程序中,也可以採用通過加壓使組合物穿過孔板進行成形等其他方法。此外,在填充物成形程序中,可以根據需要進一步添加非煙草植物、氣霧劑前體、粘接劑或增粘劑等、香味添加劑、防腐劑,也可以添加水等。
在本實施方式中,水優選使用進行了殺菌或去除了微生物的水,優選為使用通過反滲透膜或離子交換等來得到的純水。
通過填充物成形程序所得到的片材的厚度優選為0.1mm~1.0mm的範圍,進一步優選為0.1mm~0.5mm的範圍。所得到的片材由切割器、轉刀方式的旋轉切割器等切斷成規定的寬度。
在本實施方式中,以厚度為0.3mm的片材的切斷為例進行說明。首先,將成形後的片材例如切斷成縱150mm、橫240mm的長方形。將該長方形的片材供給到旋轉切割器,切斷成縱1.5mm、橫240mm的形狀,從而得到片材切斷物。由此,香煙填充物20的長邊方向的尺寸a為1.5mm,短邊方向的尺寸b為0.3mm。將50個該片材切斷物由包裝體25捲繞,製成外形約為6.9mm的捲繞物。用切割器將該捲繞物切斷成12.0mm的長度,能夠得到香煙填充物聚合體10。該香煙填充物聚合體10的質量為0.29g。當將香煙填充物20的體積相對于香煙填充物聚合體10的體積的比率設為體積填充率時,本實施方式的香煙填充物聚合體10的體積填充率約為0.60。此外,香煙填充物聚合體10的密度為1.07g/cm3
。
由此,香煙填充物聚合體10的具有長條面狀的形態的香煙填充物20被聚合為沿著長度方向的束狀。
對香煙填充物聚合體10的香煙填充物20的配置狀態進行詳細說明。圖4表示香煙填充物聚合體10的主視圖。圖4示出了香煙填充物20的典型的排列例。在香煙填充物聚合體10中香煙填充物20為與包裝體25或其他香煙填充物20接觸的密集狀態。
香煙填充物20中與包裝體25接觸的最外周部的香煙填充物20朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向。在圖4中,香煙填充物20a的長邊中的一邊整體與包裝體25接觸。此外,香煙填充物20a的兩個短邊分別與在周向上相鄰的香煙填充物20b、20c接觸。香煙填充物20b、20c的長邊也分別與包裝體25接觸。同樣的,位於最外周部的香煙填充物20均朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向,彼此在短邊上接觸。由此,在最外周部,香煙填充物20的填充率較高,並且由於香煙填充物20彼此在周向上相互接觸而位置難以發生偏移。
香煙填充物20中與最外周部的香煙填充物20的內周側接觸的香煙填充物20多數朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向。在圖4中,香煙填充物20d的長邊中的外周側的一邊與最外周部的香煙填充物20a接觸,並且長邊方向大致沿著周向。雖然如香煙填充物20e所示那樣一部分的長邊方向沿著徑向,但是與最外周部的香煙填充物20的內周側接觸的香煙填充物20中的、長邊方向大致沿著周向的香煙填充物20的數量多於長邊方向沿著周向以外的方向的香煙填充物20的數量。因此,在靠近最外周部的區域內,香煙填充物20的填充率也較高,並且香煙填充物20的位置也難以發生偏移。
香煙填充物20的長邊方向的面與相鄰的香煙填充物20的長邊方向的面接觸,或者長邊方向的面與相鄰的香煙填充物20的短邊方向的面接觸。如前述那樣,在外周部,香煙填充物20的長邊方向的面與相鄰的香煙填充物20的短邊方向的面接觸的情況較多,但是整體上長邊方向的面與相鄰的香煙填充物20的長邊方向的面接觸的情況較多。因此,在香煙填充物聚合體10的中央部,香煙填充物20的多數形成長邊方向的面彼此接觸的填充物組21。
在香煙填充物聚合體10內形成有多個填充物組21,在各填充物組21中香煙填充物20的長邊與相鄰的香煙填充物20的長邊相互接觸。填充物組21內的香煙填充物20彼此在長邊上相互接觸,因此不怎麼具有間隙,但是在填充物組21彼此之間容易形成空隙部22。在香煙填充物聚合體10的外周部,由於如前述那樣香煙填充物20大致沿著周向,所以難以形成空隙部22,而在香煙填充物聚合體10的中央部,在填充物組21彼此之間容易形成空隙部22。在香煙填充物聚合體10的與長度方向正交的截面中,作為在徑向上進行面積等分所得到的中心側區域的中央區域α的空隙率高於作為外周側區域的外周區域β的空隙率。
由於香煙填充物20是在與長度方向正交的截面中具有長邊方向和短邊方向的形態,由於上述形態,使得容易同時實現以下兩種排列,1)最外周部的香煙填充物20的沿著周向的排列;2)中央部具有香煙填充物20的填充物組21和空隙部22的排列。
由於中央區域α的空隙率較高,所以容易將電子煙主體2所具有的加熱部50插入到香煙填充物聚合體10內。此外,包含因加熱部50加熱而產生的氣霧劑的氣流能夠容易地在香煙填充物聚合體10內流動。另一方面,由於外周區域β的空隙率較低,所以能夠提高香煙填充物聚合體10的整體填充率,能夠產生充足量的氣霧劑。
此外,由於外周區域β的填充率較高,所以香煙填充物聚合體10能夠在構造上牢固地保持香煙填充物20。因此,在使用者進行操作時能夠減少香煙填充物20的脫落。
香煙填充物20的排列根據由包裝體25進行捲繞的程度而發生變化,因此每1根都不同。圖5示出了另一香煙填充物聚合體10的主視圖。如該圖所示,也存在配置在最外周部的香煙填充物20中的一部分朝向周向以外的方向的情況。但是,即使在該情況下,在最外周部,朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向的香煙填充物20的數量也多於朝向長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向以外的方向的香煙填充物20的數量,能夠得到與圖4的情況同樣的效果。關於與最外周部的香煙填充物20的內周側接觸的香煙填充物20,也同樣如此。此外,比其更靠中央側配置的香煙填充物20的排列本身雖然與圖4不同,但是在多數會形成填充物組21並且在填充物組21之間形成空隙部22這一點上與圖4是同樣的。由此,在圖5的狀態下,中央區域α的空隙率比外周區域β的空隙率相對高。
當在由加熱部50加熱香煙填充物聚合體10的狀態下使用者進行吸氣時,包含氣霧劑的氣流向煙嘴14側流動。如此前所說明的那樣,中央區域α的空隙率高於外周區域β的空隙率,因此氣流從外周側向中央側彙集,並且朝向長度方向流動。在該情況下,從填充率較高的外周部產生大量的氣霧劑,其能夠順暢地流動。
圖6示出了表示由包裝體25捲繞香煙填充物20的程序的主視圖。如圖6(a)所示,在捲繞香煙填充物20時,首先,將香煙填充物20載置在包裝體25上。包裝體25被載置在設置於底座40上的開閉部41上。開閉部41能夠在使其相互分開的方向上移動。此時,期望以使香煙填充物20的長邊盡可能與包裝體25接觸的方式載置香煙填充物20。
接著,如圖6(b)所示,使開閉部41彼此以使兩者分開的方式移動來形成使包裝體25落入的凹部42,用落入凹部42中的包裝體25包裹香煙填充物20,最終如圖6(c)所示那樣將包裝體25閉合來形成香煙填充物聚合體10。在由包裝體25進行包裹的程序中,通過調整速度等,能夠使最外周部的香煙填充物20的多數以大致沿著周向的方式排列。此外,在由包裝體25包裹香煙填充物20並使其閉合的期間內,通過調整將香煙填充物20壓入包裝體25內部的力,能夠使中央區域α的空隙率成為適當的範圍。
在此說明的香煙填充物20的排列是由下述情況帶來的:形成為長條面狀的香煙填充物20的截面形狀是具有長邊方向和短邊方向的大致長方形、以及最外周部的香煙填充物20和與其相鄰的香煙填充物20的多數以大致沿著周向的方式配置。本申請的申請人使香煙填充物20的形狀或排列發生變化,通過實驗驗證了通過一次抽吸可吸入的氣霧劑量和可抽吸數。其條件及結果如表1所示。條件1是香煙填充物20的截面形狀設定為正方形(縱0.60±0.10mm、橫0.60±0.10mm)。條件2~6是香煙填充物20的截面形狀設定為長方形(縱1.50±0.10mm、橫0.28±0.02mm)。條件2是本實施方式的技術方案。
從氣霧劑量及可抽吸數的觀點出發,優選條件2、3、5。此外,電子煙主體2的加熱部50插入香煙填充物20中的容易度在條件2、3下為良好。
在條件2~6中,香煙填充物20的排列方式因包裝體25進行捲繞之前的香煙填充物20的配置或包裝體25對香煙填充物20的捲繞方式而不同。在作為本實施方式的技術方案的條件2下最容易捲繞香煙填充物20,其次條件3、5是容易捲繞香煙填充物20的技術方案。條件4、6是難以捲繞香煙填充物20的技術方案。因此,從製造容易度的觀點出發,優選條件2、3、5,特別是更優選條件2。
在香煙填充物20的截面形狀為正方形的條件1下,難以像這樣將香煙填充物20的形狀成形,並且與截面形狀為長方形的情況相比香煙填充物20更容易脫落。而且,加熱時氣流的產生量也較少。
如上所述,從製造容易度的觀點和氣流量及可抽吸數的觀點二者出發,作為本實施方式的技術方案的條件2可以說是最優選的技術方案。
圖7示出了支撐部件12的主視圖。如圖7(a)所示,在本實施方式中,支撐部件12從正面觀察時具有大致圓形,在中央部形成有使氣流流通的流路部30。流路部30的周圍是在外周面與包裝部件16接觸且在端面與香煙填充物20接觸的周緣部31。
支撐部件12也可以具有其他形狀。如圖7(b)所示,也可以具有從中央部朝向徑向突出的周向的4個周緣部34,在周緣部34之間形成流路部35。此外,如圖7(c)所示,也可以在周緣部38的中央側形成流路部37,具有該流路部37被分隔壁部39劃分為兩部分的形狀。無論在哪種情況下,支撐部件12的周緣部都能夠在外周面與包裝部件16接觸,並且在端面與香煙填充物20沿著長度方向接觸。
以上,對本發明的實施方式進行了說明,但是本發明的應用不限於本實施方式,能夠在其技術思想範圍內進行各種應用。例如,在本實施方式中,在香煙填充物聚合體10與煙嘴14之間僅設置有支撐部件12,但是也可以在支撐部件12與煙嘴14之間設置冷卻部件。此外,香煙填充物20的截面中的長邊尺寸a和短邊尺寸b不限於上述的例子,能夠設定為任意的尺寸、比率。

- 一種香煙填充物聚合體,其是將長條狀的香煙填充物聚合成束狀並由片材狀的包裝體捲繞外周部而構成的,其中: 該香煙填充物形成為在與長度方向正交的截面中長邊方向的尺寸比短邊方向的尺寸長, 與該包裝體接觸的最外周部的該香煙填充物朝向該長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向或者朝向該長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向以外的方向,朝向該長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向的該香煙填充物的數量多於朝向該長邊方向大致沿著周向的方向以外的方向的該香煙填充物的數量。
