Abstract

本發明關於一種製造模內轉印膜之方法,其包括以下步驟:以PVC、PET及PETG中任一者形成基材層;在該基材層頂部上形成具有給定剝離力之硬塗層;在該硬塗層頂部上塗覆底塗層,以加強介於該硬塗層與待於該底塗層上形成之印刷層之間的結合力;及在該底塗層頂部上形成印刷層;及在該印刷層頂部上塗覆黏著層。

Description

模內轉印膜及製造彼之方法
本發明關於模內轉印膜及製造彼之方法,更明確地說,係關於能去除於製造轉印膜時用於形成脫離層之程序,從而減少製造程序數、防止在高溫下操作所導致之基材層的損傷,及防止脫離層連續變化之模內轉印膜及製造彼之方法。
通常,模內射出廣泛用於製造所有種類之家用電器(諸如洗碗機、空調等)的前面板及用以製造電腦、行動電話等之LCD視窗及鍵板。
模內射出係藉由在印有給定設計圖案之轉印膜係安裝在固定框架與射出模之移動框架的狀態下進行熔融樹脂射出來進行,從而獲致360°及在現有熱轉移方法中未能解決之不均勻部分中的轉移。經由模內射出,在進行射出的同時,印在轉印膜上之設計圖案係轉移至模製產品表面。若應用此種模內射出,傳統實務中包括射出、真空沉積、黏著及鋁板貼附的四個步驟可減至射出及轉移同時進行之單 一步驟,從而有利地降低模製產品的製造成本並大幅降低模製產品的瑕疵率。
對於模製產品的品質產生許多影響的組件為轉印膜。該轉印膜通常包括具有剝離力之基材層、於該基材層頂部上形成之表面保護層、於該表面保護層頂部上形成之具有給定設計圖案的印刷層,及於該印刷層頂部上形成之黏著層。當該射出程序結束時,利用該黏著層將該表面保護層及印刷層係轉移該模製產品,並分離且移除該基材層。此時,只有一部分覆蓋該印刷層的表面保護層附著於該模製產品,該表面保護層的其他部分係與分離之基材層一起移除。
如此,傳統模內轉印膜具有塗覆在基材層與表面保護層之間的脫離劑,以將印刷之設計圖案轉移至模製產品上,從而確保射出成形時的剝離力。
然而,在傳統模內轉印膜情況下,基材層可因在用於脫離劑塗覆之高溫下操作而受損,此外脫離層隨著時間過去可具有連續變化。
因此,基於先前技術中發生的上述問題而完成本發明,且本發明目的係提供能去除於製造轉印膜時用於形成脫離層之程序,從而減少製造程序數、防止在高溫下操作所導致之基材層的損傷,及防止脫離層連續變化之模內轉 印膜及製造彼之方法。
為達成上述目的,根據本發明,提供一種製造模內轉印膜之方法,其包括以下步驟:以PVC、PET及PETG中任一者形成基材層;在該基材層頂部上形成具有給定剝離力之硬塗層;在該硬塗層頂部塗覆底塗層,以加強介於該硬塗層與待於該底塗層上形成之印刷層之間的結合力;及在該底塗層頂部上形成印刷層;及在該印刷層頂部上塗覆黏著層。
根據本發明,較佳係硬塗層包括含有助滑劑、蠟及無機物質的組成物,以對與該基材層接觸的表面施加給定剝離力。
根據本發明,較佳係底塗層包括含有丙烯基多元醇及胺基甲酸酯共聚物其中一者的組成物。
根據本發明,較佳係印刷層係利用凹版印刷形成,且具有介於1μm與5μm之間的厚度。
根據本發明,較佳係黏著層係由聚酯黏著劑形成,且塗覆成介於1μm與5μm之間的厚度。
根據本發明,較佳係模內轉印膜根據上述方法任一者製造。
根據本發明,提供模內轉印膜及製造彼之方法,其中 設有施加給定剝離力之硬塗層以使得即使在模內射出模製時不形成分離之脫離層,基材層容易與該硬塗層分離,從而減少製造該模內轉印膜所需之程序及成本。

然後,茲參考附圖詳細解釋本發明模內轉印膜及製造彼之方法。
應暸解注意的是,即使表示於不同圖中,對應於說明之部件係以對應參考數字指示。
圖1係顯示本發明模內轉印膜之層壓結構的側視斷面圖,而圖2係顯示模內轉印膜係經由模內射出附著於射出產品之狀態的側視斷面圖。
參考圖1,本發明之模內轉印膜100包括基材層110、於該基材層110頂部上形成之硬塗層120、於該硬塗層120頂部上形成之底塗層130、於該底塗層130頂部上形成之印刷層140,及塗覆於該印刷層140頂部上之黏著層150。
現在,茲詳細解釋本發明模內轉印膜100之構造。
基材層110用作模內轉印膜之基底基材,其支撐複數層層壓在其頂部上之塗層,且另外維持本發明之膜100上下部分的彎曲平衡。基材層110係由PVC、PET及PETG中任一者製成,且根據本發明,較佳係由PET(聚對苯二甲酸乙二酯)製成。由於PET具有強張力及優異熱安定性,其展現高尺寸安定性及耐久性,即使在捲繞數次之後其提供低物理性質改變。此外,PET容易物理處理(電暈)及化學處理(丙烯基系、胺基甲酸酯)以提高表面附著力,以及亦具有強力接合。此外,由於PET對於有機溶劑具有優異溶劑抗性,其具有容易塗覆有機溶劑黏著劑之物理性質。
硬塗層120形成於基材層110頂部上,且當模內轉印膜轉移後分離基材層110時曝露於外部,其用以保護該膜表面以免刮傷。此情況下,較佳係硬塗層120包括含有助滑劑、蠟及無機物質的組成物,以對與該基材層110接觸的表面施加給定剝離力。因此,即使在基材層110頂部上未形成分離剝離層,於模內射出模製時基材層110可容易與硬塗層120分離。
底塗層130係塗覆於硬塗層120頂部上且用以強化待於其上形成之印刷層140與硬塗層120之間的接合的力。此外,底塗層130用以改善用於印刷層140之油墨的吸收力。即,即使硬塗層120能吸收油墨,其具有相對低解析度及強度,因此,較佳係底塗層130分開形成。在該情況下,較佳地,底塗層130包括含有丙烯基多元醇及胺基甲 酸酯共聚物其中一者的組成物,其具有優異油墨吸收作用。
印刷層140係利用凹版印刷而印刷在該底塗層130頂部上,並用以提供具有不同顏色之各式設計圖案、特徵或商標。
黏著層150係塗覆在底塗層130頂部上,並用以提高模內轉印膜100與射出產品200之間的接合力。在該情況下,較佳係黏著層150係由聚酯黏著劑形成。
現在,茲解釋製造該模內轉印膜及將該轉印膜附著於射出產品之程序。
首先,以PVC、PET及PETG中任一者形成基材層110。此時,較佳係該基材層110的厚度介於25μm與50μm之間。即,若基材層110之厚度小於25μm,則可因層壓在該基材層110頂部上之複數層的重量而發生龜裂。反之,若基材層110之厚度大於50μm,射出程序時射出產品200之隅角的延伸低到造成變形,且另外進料不溫和而導致產生許多瑕疵。
其次,在該基材層110頂部上形成具有剝離力之硬塗層120。
然後,將包括含有丙烯基多元醇及胺基甲酸酯共聚物其中一者的組成物之底塗層130塗覆在硬塗層120頂部上,以強化該硬塗層120與待於其上形成之底塗層140之間的接合力。
然後將形成具有不同顏色之各種設計圖案、特徵或商 標的印刷層140印刷在底塗層130頂部上。在該情況下,較佳係印刷層140包括含有25重量份之顏料、15重量份之合成樹脂及5重量份之固化劑,同時較佳係該固化劑包括含有約40%胺基甲酸酯共聚物的合成樹脂之組成物。又,印刷層140係利用凹版印刷形成,且具有介於1μm與5μm之間的厚度。
最後,聚酯黏著層150係形成於印刷層140頂部上,其塗覆至厚度介於1μm與5μm之間,從而完成模內轉印膜100之製造。
茲參考將模內轉印膜100附著於射出產品200的程序,首先將模內轉印膜100之基材層110定位於下部模(未圖示)中朝向該下部模的內部。其次,上方模(未圖示)朝該下方模降下,然後當將樹脂置入模中時,進行射出成形,因此此時模內轉印膜100的黏著層150係附著於射出產品200表面。然後,若掀起上方模以將射出產品200與下方模分離,基材層110係與硬塗層120分離,從而完成如圖2所示將模內轉印膜100附著於射出產品200之程序。
雖然本發明係參考特定說明實例描述,但其不受該等實例限制,而是只由後附申請專利範圍限制。應暸解熟悉本技術之人士可在不違背本發明範圍及精神的情況下改變或修改該等實例。

Claims (6)

  1. 一種製造模內轉印膜之方法,其包括以下步驟:以PVC、PET及PETG中任一者形成基材層110;在該基材層頂部上形成具有給定剝離力之硬塗層120;在該硬塗層120頂部上塗覆底塗層130,以加強介於該硬塗層120與待於該底塗層130頂部上形成之印刷層140之間的結合力;在該底塗層130頂部上形成印刷層140;及在該印刷層140頂部上塗覆黏著層150。
  2. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該硬塗層120包含含有助滑劑、蠟及無機物質的組成物,以對與該基材層110接觸的表面施加給定剝離力。
  3. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中底塗層130包含含有丙烯基多元醇及胺基甲酸酯共聚物其中一者的組成物。
  4. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該印刷層140係利用凹版印刷形成,且具有介於1μm與5μm之間的厚度。
  5. 如申請專利範圍第1項之方法,其中該黏著層150係由聚酯黏著劑形成,且塗覆成介於1μm與5μm之間的厚度。
  6. 一種模內轉印膜,其係根據申請專利範圍第1至5項中任一項所製造。
