Abstract
This invention provides a fuel pump collocation structure for scooter type vehicle having fuel tank and seat in lower height and being able of supplying necessary fuel for the engine starting up. The storage chamber 21 is arranged below the rider's seat 72, and the fuel tank 22 is arranged in the rear side of the storage chamber 21 as well as on the top of the rear wheel. At the front end of the top wall 143 of the fuel tank 22 is installed a fuel injection port 142; more rear than the fuel injection port 142 is an inclined wall 126 on which the fuel pump 91 hidden in the fuel tank 22 is mounted. The fuel pump 91, when viewing from side, is constructed as front end low and rear end high.
