Abstract

Buluş, bir polikarbodiimid polimer üretmeye ilişkin bir yöntem ve daha spesifik olarak moleküler ağırlık dağılımında düşük bir varyasyona sahip olan ve daha az yan ürün ile sonuçlanan bir polikarbodiimid polimer üretmeye ilişkin bir yöntem ile ilgilidir. Bir karbodiimid bileşiği içeren bir prekürsör bileşiğin istenen bir sıcaklığa ısıtılması; prekürsör bileşiğinin, bir diizosiyanat bileşiğinin ve bir karbodiimidizasyon katalizörünün bir reaksiyon karışımı oluşturmak için kombine edilmesi; ve reaksiyon karışımının 0'dan fazla ila 18 saat aralığındaki bir birinci zaman periyodu boyunca bir birinci sıcaklığa ısıtılması, böylelikle prekürsör bileşiğin ve diizosiyanat bileşiğinin polikarbodiimid polimer üretmek için karbodiimidizasyon katalizörünün mevcudiyetinde reaksiyona sokulması işlem adımlarının yer aldığı bu yöntemde istenen sıcaklık ve birinci sıcaklığın her biri bağımsız olarak 70 ve 150 °C arasındadır ve prekürsör bileşik tekli karbodiimid bağına sahip olan bir karbodiimid bileşiğidir.
