Bir plastik kordonunun kordon göbegi çevresinde düzenlenmis olan ve sekil hafizasina sahip bir maddeden imal edilen halka seklindeki bir kelepçe veya kavrama vasitasinin yani sira bu tür bir kelepçe veya kavrama vasitasini içeren bir lastik de açiklanmistir. Halka seklindeki kelepçe veya kavrama vasitasi,çevre sicakliginda uzama ile deforme olabilir ve çevre sicakliginin yukarisindaki bir sicaklikta önceden hafizasinda olan bir sekli alacak sekilde büzülür, yüksek sicakliktan çevre sicakligina degin düsük bir sicakliga geçiste bir büzülme kuvvetini muhafaza eder. Kelepçe veya kavrama vasitasi, tercihen halka seklindeki metal serit, kordon göbeginin çesitli elemanlarini, özellikle vulkanizasyon sirasinda özel bir sicaklik araligi boyunca sikistirir. Bu tür bir kelepçenin ve bu tür bir kelepçeye sahip bir lastigin imalati için bir yöntem de açiklanmistir.
