THE INVENTOR HAS ALSO OBSERVED THAT A MATERIAL OF EXPANDED POLYMER, USED AS COATING FOR CABLES, PROMOTES THE OBTAINING OF A RESISTANCE OF SAID CABLE HIGHER TO IMPACTS THAN BY THE USE OF A SIMILAR COATING BASED ON THE SAME NON-POLYMER EXPANDED. A CABLE HAVING A COVERING OF THIS KIND WITH MULTIPLE ADVANTAGES IN RELATION TO A CONVENTIONAL ARMORED CABLE, SUCH AS, FOR EXAMPLE, A MORE ACCESSIBLE PROCESSING PROCESS, REDUCING THE WEIGHT AND THE DIMENSION OF THE FINISHED CABLE AS WELL AS A REDUCED IMPACT ON THE ENVIRONMENT THROUGH RECYCLING ONCE THE LIFETIME OF THE CABLE IN QUESTION IS EXPIRED.
